ScarAway Scar Diminishing Gel - A Ray of Hope for Scar Reduction ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently came across ScarAway Scar Diminishing Gel, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer in my journey towards reducing scars. If you're like me and have been searching for an effective solution, read on to discover why this gel has caught my attention. 🩹 Visible Improvement: What struck me most about ScarAway is the noticeable difference it has made in reducing the appearance of my scars. Whether it's from surgery, injury, or acne, this gel seems to be working its magic in promoting smoother and less noticeable skin. 🌱 Silicone Power: Silicone has long been hailed for its scar reduction properties, and ScarAway takes full advantage of this. The gel is formulated with advanced silicone technology that creates a protective barrier, helping scars fade and blend with the surrounding skin over time. ⏳ Consistency Pays Off: Applying ScarAway consistently has proven key. While results may vary depending on the severity of the scar, I've noticed that dedicated use has led to more prominent improvements. It's not an overnight miracle, but the gradual progress is truly encouraging. 🛡️ Protection and Hydration: The gel also helps shield scars from external factors that could hinder the healing process. Plus, it keeps the skin hydrated, which contributes to the overall health of the scar tissue. 👃 Non-Greasy and Odorless: Unlike some scar products that can be unpleasant to apply due to texture or smell, ScarAway's gel formula is both non-greasy and odorless. It's a relief to use a product that feels comfortable on the skin throughout the day. 🌞 Sunscreen Alert: Keep in mind that scar tissue is more susceptible to sun damage. While using ScarAway, it's crucial to protect the area with sunscreen to prevent further discoloration or damage. 🎉 Final Thoughts: ScarAway Scar Diminishing Gel is not a magical eraser, but it's a step in the right direction for those seeking to minimize the appearance of scars. Whether you're dealing with surgical scars, cuts, burns, or even stretch marks, this gel has the potential to make a noticeable difference over time. Please note: As with any skincare product, individual results can vary. It's a good idea to consult a dermatologist or medical professional before incorporating ScarAway into your routine, especially if you have sensitive or problematic skin.

Skeptic is no longer skeptical...get this!!!
(FYI: Not a dang soul paid me for this review. All my words, story is all mine.) For new wounds, I highly recommend ScarAway gel for anyone that's skeptical or on the fence about which brand/product to try especially before too much time passes. You won't regret it! I'm beyond happy about results thus far. I never expected a magic wand, but at the very least I hoped for some level of improvement over time. So I dropped the $30 and crossed my fingers. I've only used it for 5 days (just 4 days after suture removal) and have seen an fairly shocking, encouraging rate of improvement in the overall look of my skin. Immediately upon 1st use, scabbed areas softened and I was able to peel them away painlessly. That was awesome! Made the area look a tad less disgusting LOL A little goes a long way. A small pea size amount or less for this 2" long wound is enough. First, I wiped the area with an alcohol wipe, let it fully dry. Several dabs and swipes to fill in all the areas that need it, as well as a centimeter or so around the perimeter of the surgery site. It's sticky first, but fully dries to silky smooth in about 10min. (FYI- Texas humidity doesn't help) If it's not dry by 10min, you probably used too much, so just dab lightly with a paper towel and you'll be good. It stays on all day, uncovered. Every time I washed my hands I'd apply more to be safe. Not sure if its necessary. Just use your best judgement. I'm as white as a ghost so I expect the wound to be pink for a while. It's only 1 month old. The overall color of the area is evening out and healing is happening. It's definitely noticeable for such a short time. No idea about this product's effectiveness on old scars. So here's a more detailed timeline to the story: Broke my left wrist in a car accident. I had surgery to repair the break on 05/01/17. First pic shown is 05/08/17. The immediate surgery site looked gnarly and continued to until sutures were removed last week, Wed. 05/24/17. It was a little lumpy, crusty with light scabs. First use of the product was Mon. 05/29/17, 4 days after suture removal. Second pic is today, 5 days later, Fri. 06/02/17. Get this stuff!

Awesome results & Great protection!
I am very impressed with this product. I had surgery and a scar that was about 1 1/2 inches on my forehead. The doctor's office was having me use Vaseline. It helped keep the scar moist and from developing scabs, but did not protect the area from the sun. I switched to this 5 days ago - applying in the am and the pm. Wow! The lumps became flat. My husband and friends are surprised that the scar looks this good only 3 1/2 weeks after surgery! I noticed an immediate difference the 3rd day. Also, a benefit of this scar gel is that it provides a protective coat that I can put sunscreen over it and then make up, without worrying that I am going to hurt the new skin. When I put make up on top - I can hardly see anything! I have to strain to see the scar and even then, I am wondering if it is really there. I haven't written many reviews...and could not, not write one about this amazing product! Thank you AMAZON for carrying it - and THANK you to all those who left wonderful reviews that got me to try it!

Works
Waited to make sure if it worked. My 2 inch scar on my face is hardly visible.

Still not sure
I got a tremendous brown recluse bite that took 14 weeks to heal. The wound was very deep and very large, right above my knee. The scar left is significant. I didn't realize how much scars can hurt, particularly in the winter weather. My scar raises up and blisters in the cold and if I wear jeans that rub on it at all. Prior to having a major scar, I had small scars that never did any of that. Because I wanted the scar to heal, I did a lot of research. I decided to purchase this because I wanted the scar to go away or minimize the best it could. I used it religiously for the first little while, but, frankly, my wound care specialist recommended A&D ointment and the Kelo Cote did not provide the comfort A&D did. I also did not notice that the scar was lessening at all. Finally, after several weeks, my scar was still raised, still hurting, bright red, sometimes purple that I did not care as much how it looked as I did how comfortable it was. So, I went back to A&D. To be fair, my scar is one of the larger ones I have seen and runs pretty deep. As a result, I can't say that this doesn't work, only that it didn't work on such a large area. It also did not have the comfort properties of lubricating the scar (mine cracks in winter weather, too) like vitamin E oil or A&D. One thing I did like about it is that A&D always leaves people wondering why I smell like a baby diaper (the smell is the one we always associate with babies) and this one didn't smell after the application dried. I haven't yet tried it on a more minor scar to see how it would work. But, for this scar, I never noticed a difference and I was not comfortable.

Worked wonders on 10 year old puckered scar and new surgery scars.
I was reluctant to try scar therapy for my new post op breast revision surgery scars, because I thought it wouldn't work, but this stuff really made a difference! The scars are healing very fast, and they looks very smooth. I am glad I bought it instead of the much more expensive product my surgeon's office tried to sell me (something that had no reviews or info online). I was curious and started using it on a 10 year old tummy tuck scar as well. I didn't expect anything to change, but only after week, I noticed such a big change. The ends of my scar were puckered. I thought I would always have to live with it that way. After just a week, the ends of the scar had smoothed out noticeably, and after two weeks, they are almost flat. I can't believe I went ten years with puckered scars when I could have used Scar Away to change the texture. The rest of the scar has improved too. I started an experiment to see if it would help my old stretch marks as well. I have only been using it on half of my tummy for about a week, and so far, I don't see a change. I certainly didn't expect a change that quickly. I am going to keep trying. If I notice a change, I will buy another tube just for my stretch marks so I can keep using it. It's supposed to take 3 months to see real results, so I'm hopeful, but even if it doesn't work on my stretch marks, I am more than impressed with the speed and effectivness it has had on my new and really old scars. I would definitely recommend this product.

Worked for me -- science says it works in general
It worked for me as far as I can tell (anecdotal evidence) -- my scars from my Bilateral Total Knee Replacement are much improved at 6 weeks post-op, far better than the scar from my Total Hip Replacement at 15 weeks (I used this on a VERY limited basis on the hip scar). The top half (or more) of the scar is starting to disappear -- literally. In general that section is fading and there are place where it is invisable. The bottom third is improved but not as remarkable -- likely because there were most stitches spit late from that area. (As recent as this week.) Perhaps also the skin is of different quality above the knee and on or below it, or perhaps the stretching on the lower portion is different enough that the wound healed differently. Note: My incision was closed externally with ONLY GLUE so there was not a lot of scaring nor was the scar wide. In any case, it worked for me and I am continuing to use it -- as well as buying more to use it longer. BTW: I don't much care about the hip scar and it is inconvenient to put the gel there and then dress. FYI: This stuff is VERY SLOW to DRY. The instructions indicate 'apply, wait for it to dry, then dress' but it practically never dries, always remaining tacky. I have tried waiting an hour or more and also tried a blow dryer to hasten the process. None of this really helped. It would have been reasonable to downgrade the rating by one star due to this issue but the stuff works so well that I chose to give it all 5 stars despite this annoyance. I just paint it on, then find a way to leave it uncovered for an hour or more, then dress or pull up the bed covers and let what ever happens happen. The hip was far less convenient in the respect since you can't even wear underwear or gym shorts without covering that area -- the knees are much easier to leave exposed.
