The ink is very dense, then has to be monitored at the nib fairly closely. If a fountain pen is left uncapped for a period of time in excess of 5 or 6 minutes, the ink flow is entirely different than the last stroke taken. If you are working with this pen rather than writing a letter this particular factor can be annoying. Otherwise, the ink colour density is excellent.

The two nib sizes give two thickness options for everyday writing with a fountain pen. The pens' width makes for a comfortable grip, and the ink flows well. Excellent pens for Italic handwriting for a reasonable price. Thank you!

I got this to go in my speedball calligraphy pen and they are to runny. I now use them with the Mont Marte Calligraphy Set, 33 Piece and they work amazing.
