Love this oil ... but not the smell so much! Ways to get around it though :)
Love this oil ... just not the smell. This oil has many skin care uses and helps with lots of issues.I would need my essential oil books to go into them all.The one I use it for most often is sunscreen and it's fabulous!I have compared using it vs. not and when I don't my face, neck, and chest gets sunburned - so it's really working.I just put about 1 tablespoon of fractionated coconut oil in the palm of my hand, 2 drops of carrot seed oil, and 2 drops of lavender oil (to cover the carrot oil smell - think musty rotten carrot dirt) and then use my fingers to rub it all over where needed. The lavender covers the ick part of the carrot smell and turns it into a sweet, melon type smell. In fact my son is always asking who is eating melons when I wear it together.Warning - without the lavender I can't stand using it on my face because of the smell, it's that bad by itself. With this on I get a little color but no burn at all, even after hours in the sun (4 - 6 hours).

Best carrot seed oil out there! Your skin will thank you!
I used to suffer from abscesses on my bottom when I took birth control pills (took a long time to figure out the source of the issue). I put this on them and it took the pain and swelling down in hours. Otherwise I'd have them for months suffering! Now I use it to minimize fine lines and discoloration from the occasional pimple. I also used it on something that looked suspiciously like something pre-cancerous, gone!!!!I tried one from a local store and it was a waste of money. This has a strong musk smell so I used it in the evening. The benefits far outweigh the scent. I'm accustomed to it now. Love this product!!!!

Get past the odor
I have been hesitant to order anything outside the Young Living site, so I ordered this due to what I needed. It is OK, but be cautious. It is strong. You really need to dilute it as it is not comfortable to put on your skin without some carrier.

Superb quality
I discovered the Plant Therapy brand on Amazon and I have been very impressed with all of the products I have purchased. The carrot seed oil is equally good. All are high quality, pure, strong and do their job well. I also purchased some items directly from Plant Therapy. Recently, my partner had a serious accident. I used the carrot seed with other oils to treat the scar on her face. I also made a blend of their organic peppermint oil and lavender in a carrier oil, and it really has helped her painful muscles. I highly recommend all of the Plant Therapy products, which in addition to their quality are very reasonably priced.

Finally!
I've been searching for quality Carrot Seed oil and I finally found it! This product is great and helped clear my dark spots and helps to keep my skin clear (I combined it with Argan oil and Rosehip). Of course it's smells really strong but that's how I know its not diluted with orher oils. Great product, fast shipping, and well packaged. 5 stars*

Love Carrot Seed Oil!
I love using it in my homemade suntan lotion. The smell is awful, but if you mix it with a nice scented essential oil you won't notice it.

Mixed with others, a nice earthy scent
I love to experiment with Essential oils, and over the last year, I am learning a lot about them. I was intrigued when I saw Carrot seed oil. I had never seen it before. It has a musky, earthy scent. A bit overwhelming. But I found that mixing it with other oils such as Lemon or Lavender combine nicely and it becomes richly aromatic in a diffuser. Overall, I really liked it. I received this item at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion.Stats: Botanical Name: Daucus Carota Origin: India Extraction Method: Steam Distilled Plant Part: Seeds Strength of Aroma: Medium Aromatic Scent: This oil has a woody-earthy, slightly spicy, strong herbaceous musky scent. Blends well with: Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium and Lavender. Suggested Uses: Carrot Seed essential oil is reputed to being a wonderful skin rejuvenating oil. It also helps support a healthy liver and digestive system and is one of the best oils for menstrual pain. Diffuse Carrot Seed to relieve stress or encourage sleep and to aid the digestive and respiratory systems. Add a few drops to Rosehip carrier to rejuvenate, soften and smooth your skin. Cautions: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding
