## Description

Product is ideal for sports event participants for personal use or event directors who need skin safe markers for skin & body marking of athletes. This single marker contains high definition black ink. The marker can be used over multiple races or can mark up to 50 athletes.

Review: Updated - first pen broke, replacement works fine - So after getting a replacement, I am happy to put this up to 5 stars. The product really does work very well. The manufacturer indicated they were working on a new design, and that you need to carefully twist off the top on the current version. The pen writes clearly, and stays on through the entire swim meet easily. It takes a little work with soap to get it off, but that should be expected since stays on so well in water (rubbing alcohol also takes it off). I could also recommend it for marathoners and triathletes based on how well it works. (recommendation for manufacturer - for smaller kids a smaller tip could be helpful for an alternative product) (Original Review) So, I am torn in writing this because at the first swim meet it worked awesome, worthy of 5 stars. However at the second meet, we went to pull the top off and the entire top of the pen came off, spilling ink everywhere (my daughters entire leg was black for the meet). Review: Better than Sharpie, better than old school eye black - This product worked quite well for me. Lasted through multiple 4-10 mile mud runs with minimal smudging. I did side by side tests and the Sharpie marks were almost non-existent at the end of a race, but this product showed hardly any wear. Yet, with a little soap and water it came right off. No adverse effects or any sign that anything was there. My only complaint is that the mechanism for loading the pen tip with more ink is a little touchy and can drip if you're not careful. Best to do this on a different surface than that which you are marking.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you remove ink?**
A: Anything with alcohol will remove the ink such as most hand sanitizers, Wet Ones wipes, rubbing alcohol. Baby oil or washing with soap and a little scrubbing will also work.

**Q: How do these pens work? Does it write directly on the skin, or do I have to draw with the markers on some kind of tattoo paper provided?**
A: Sorry for delay. The pens are meant to be written directly on skin. We have one product with a temporary tattoo but the included marker can be written on skin. All of our inks are made with FDA compliant colorants.

**Q: How did this marker work out with sunscreen on the skin? Better to apply sunscreen before using marker or after? Thanks!**
A: We recommend marking the skin and then applying sunscreen around the mark but not directly over as it can remove the mark.

**Q: Do these contain any for of latex?**
A: No they do not

This product worked quite well for me. Lasted through multiple 4-10 mile mud runs with minimal smudging. Update: Take your Mark contacted me about my review and informed me there was a batch of bad markers that made it out that were not of the quality level and they did resolve the the issue. They offered to send me a replacement marker and a few additional items. I checked the new Pen and it appears to be of better quality, I've only used it a few times and no issues. I was happy to see they have some good customer service who follow up with the issues and I'm willing to let things go as a bad batch. My only concern would be that you check your marker when it arrives carefully outside or in a sink to make sure your marker isn't a defective one. As a result I'll move to 4 stars.. it's a great product and nice to see someone offering a product that is safer that a sharpie on your kids skin. Original Review below..................................... I received the pen and as soon as I went to take the cap off, the whole front of the pen came off from the body throwing ink all over my hands, shirt, shorts, shoes, the wall and floor and since it's semi-permanent and dries very fast it was a nightmare to clean up especially in cracks of the hardwood floors. Do not buy this product unless you want this issue. I guess if they built a properly sealed pen it would work, but this is a defective design. I guess I have to keep using a sharpie for the swim meets.
