I had only ever used the kind that are flat on one side. These are so much better! They grip better, are easier to put in, are less visible, and you don't have to fuss about which side is facing up. Now that I know how good bobby pins can be I am using them all the time. I wish i had discovered these years ago!

Good bobby pins for my medium-thick hair. I like the double crimp design as it holds better than the one sided crimp I was used to.

I have fine hair so these don’t hold great, the slide easily. They also pull on my hair strands that are tightly squeezed between the pin.
