Just What I Needed
I had decided to install two 12 volt batteries on my boat so I could use my trolling motor longer. I connected them in parallel. To avoid the potential for a disaster I wanted to secure the batteries so their terminals would never accidentally come in contact with each other. These battery hold down straps worked out great. They were easy to install, sturdy with a workable buckle, strong and came with all the necessary hardware to install them and keep my batteries secure. For a very reasonable price I was able to get two quality straps and not have to worry about that possible disaster.

Best Strap For the Money
I always use these for my Marine batteries, tanks. They are way better than the straps you get with battery boxes or gas tanks. I really like the buckle, easy operation an strong, does not slip. Came quickly, as advertised.

Quality heavy duty straps
The strap is heavy duty and the buckle is quality. I can cinch down hard on the strap and the buckle holds it tight. I’m using it to strap down my 130lb RV battery.

Buyer Beware Not 100% 316 Stainless Steel
Straps arrived today. Examined the product and found the finish to be acceptable with casting defects in isolated areas of the clamping component. Not a deal killer. I found the springs used to close the clamps to be ferrous metal. My magnet jumped at them. Disappointed as the product was advertised as stainless steel and the reason for my purchase. Additionally, the screws for the hold downs are not 316 stainless steel, they are 304 stainless. Caveat Emptor.

Decent straps
Seems like decent quality. I used it to hold down a water tank in a van. I plan on buying another set for the house batteries. Usually when Amazon describes something as stainless steel it is thinly chromed pot metal, but the brackets and screws seem to be stainless. Not the buckles.

Purchased to tie down a cooler. I just installed but straps and hardware look sturdy. Will update if any issues arise.
