How is this different than the wd-g3-w?

I plan to add an inline remineralizer between the unit and faucet dispenser. Is the tubing 1/4 or 3/8 inches?

Hello, Thanks for your interest in our Waterdrop WD-G2-B Reverse Osmosis System. In theory, you can add an inline remineralize filter between the RO system and the faucet dispenser. But if you do that, there may be some risks that will have a negative impact on the RO system. Please note the following points when adding an inline remineralize filter: 1. The size of RO filtered water tubing is 1/4", please confirm whether the size of the inline remineralize filter's will match. 2. With the increase of the pH, the filter material will generate more gas which is easy to cause the pressure inside the tube rises, and the following situation arises. a. if the housing material of the remineralize filter you use is not solid enough, it is easy to explode with the high pressure. b. if the gas can not discharge in time, the pressure inside the tube becomes higher, the pressure may reversely entry into the RO system, which causes serious damage to the RO system and affects the normal use of the system. c. when you open the faucet, it can not dispense water immediately. Because it has to bleed out the gas inside the tube first. Is this unit remove fluoride from the water?

Our RO system uses reverse osmosis filtration technology with 8 layers of MRO membranes with a pore size of 0.0001um, the system can remove most contaminants including up to 90% of fluoride in water. Would this system filter sodium out of my well water?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in our Waterdrop G2 RO System. Yes, as a benefit of the RO membrane (filtration accuracy: 0.0001μm), this product is able to remove the sodium from the source water. However, compared to municipal tap water, the well water is rich of large particles, which will clog the CF & RO filter easily, and shorten their lifetime significantly. Therefore, it's recommended to add a pre-filteration system before the RO system, in order to prolong the filters' lifetime. In addition, the well water may not be able to provide the feed water pressure that the RO system needs. Furthermore, the water pressure will be even lower after the pre-filtration systems. So it's recommended to confirm that your feed water pressure meets the RO system's requirement, which is 14.5-87 psi. The customer's satisfaction is always our top concern.
