The Book of Isaiah: The Vision, The Passion Translation

Isaiah is some of the most beautiful and powerful writing in the Bible anyway... but this translation takes it to another level. I would highly recommend The Passion Translations to anyone who is ALREADY very familiar with the Bible and how it reads. OR who enjoys reading from various translations to extract the upmost from the words. When you read the Passion translation in a Bible Study group, a common reaction from the others is "What are you reading from?" It always gets a reaction but it also causes a lot of people to want to compare other passages to the Passion and it really does add a lot more beauty and texture to the understanding of the Words. I love the added information before each chapter and the footnotes-- Very informative.

What at incredible translation of Isaiah! So fresh and so anointed!This translation will be enjoyed by many future generations! It made difficult passages easy to understand, without having to do as much research as usual, so that I could focus on the meaning instead of the research.I especially loved reading it on Kindle because it was so easy to access the excellent footnotes directly from the verse with a single click.I can’t wait until they are finished and we can have a complete Bible of TPT.

I loved this translation of Isaiah. It was a revelation, Isaiah came alive with with an amazing freshness that captured me.

Bought this for my wife, she'd been talking about this new translation, so I decided to surprise her and bought a copy (so that she didn't need to read it on her tablet). Read some of the other reviews about the print size being small, but she said the size is okay for her; but I can appreciate that as we get older, the print size will become too small to comfortably read. At some point down the road, maybe after they have completed more books of the Bible, the next version I order will probably be the larger text version, especially since we'll be reading it in the comfort of the living room (vs. carrying it around, which would be easier with the standard version).Wife's Update: I love this Bible. It is hard to put into words why. When I read this translation, something stirs in my spirit.

I previously bought the New Testament Passion translation, and I love the footnotes that go in-depth about Greek and Aramaic translations of words, which opens up a whole new understanding of verses and parables. Now with the book of Isaiah, I sit down with my pen, highlighter, and journal, and I'm on an intimate journey with Jesus gaining new insight and understanding of verses I have read since I was 7 years old. This book is a great tool to use along with other translations, as everything is all in one place- word meanings, analysis, cross-references, cultural explanation/setting, audience, and so much more.

This book brings out the nuances and the readings of Isaiah with new understanding. There is much in Isaiah missed in some versions of the Bible, but this rendering brings out the meaning in a way that shows what Isaiah was writing about. The sections of writing and the way that Isaiah is read in this version will not only make Isaiah clearer and makes the book way to understand and to read.

wanted this translation of Isaiah for a while! It does not disappoint!
