Very comfortable and effective
Excellent product. Very comfortable and does the job. I had hernia surgery several years ago before that surgery I had an effect belt but it wasn’t as comfortable as this belt.

Does the job!
Bought this for my dear old dad. It has been a god send for him. He said it took a few days to get used to wearing it but now he's used to it, he barely notices it. It keeps the hernia in place and provides decent support and comfort. I purchased a second one so that he can wear one while the other is in the wash. Well worth the money!

A Very Good and Essential Hernia Belt for quick and easy support.
You need to be a little bit fundamental when describing the advantages of inguinal hernia belts, so no offence to any accidental readers! This belt is ideal for use with a left-side inguinal hernia at night and around the house when relaxing. I will get another one for wash and wear because I depend upon it so much for moving around at night. The wide belt gives very secure support. Overall, very good construction. The stabilising belt between the legs could be a little wider and more robust. I take it off for night-time sleep, but keep the whole belt within reach. Because I am so active, during my workdays, I use the Neo G Double Hernia Support Belts which provide a very good overall grip on both sides my abdomen. But I particularly like the pouch and the oval pad that comes with this Everday Medical Company Belt. I sometimes use the oval pad with the Neo G Belt , that has contoured pads, by adapting the Velco. It can really prevent your lower intestines from bulging out at night when you get up to take a leak. Never jump up or remake the bed without putting your belt on! Things seem happy to stay in place when lying horizontal or in the foetal position and asleep. I've reduced the length of the L /XL belt to fit my 38+ inch waist and the next one I get will be the smaller S/ M size. I have very little pain from my hernia, only occasional heat-skin irritation from clothes. I'm trying to cope for the foreseeable future without the operation - dependent on trusses; the day clinic operation is not available anyway in Wales, probably for the rest of the year, due to the Covid Crisis. I've chatted with the consultant. But I've got special mobility problems and responsibilities in the short term. When the NHS, and me, are more settled, I'll probably go for it. Thanks for everything, NHS folk! You are doing a Sterling job for us all! and thanks for the truss belt! If you want to know what it's like coping with an inguinal hernia - ( which can emerge later in life after being born a premature baby - according to some medical reports - which I was - well over 70 years ago - during WW2), watch the film "Cat Ballou" for how the gunfighter "KId Shellen" is got ready for action, by Cat?- without any of his previous alcohol intake though! (I wish Cat Ballou was around to look after me - Just kidding, I'm getting plenty of help!) Stay Safe and Stay Well - to the best of your Abilities!!!

Worked perfectly
Bought this for my partner whilst he waited for surgery. Absolutely invaluable as kept him working. Did exactly what it needed to do. Was apparently very comfortable. 100% happy with it

Good and bad.
Well made, comfortable when worn but, I found the pad supplied far too big and obtrusive. Have had to use pad from older belt to suit.

Använt en produkt tidigare som jag fick på sjukhus, men denna är mycket bättre eftersom den inte sticker ut allt för mycket. Använder den på gymmet främst när jag lyfter tungt.

Works great. Without it I could only stand for 5.10 minutes without pain. Wearing it, I could stand for hours. Standing in one place appeared to be the most painful.

Nice hernia belt. Does what its supposed to while I await hernia surgery in 1.5 months. It keeps a small cushion firmly placed where the inguinal hernia is (in my case left side), it alleviates pain and/or the prospect of hernia getting worse. I'm pretty active and this seems to work perfectly to keep everything "in check" as I frequently need to bend over or crouch down to pick up my 3 small dogs (9-15 lbs), go on walks, or ride the exercise bike. I'm not doing weight lifting or playing golf with it (that can wait for post op after recovery), but life is more manageable again. FYI I'm 6ft 205 lbs male and the small/medium fits great as you'll want it to be tight. Velcro holds nicely. Had to buy some boxer briefs to help with that strap around the leg, which I'd say is optional. If youre experiencing an inguinal hernia and waiting for surgery, you'll wish you had this, this is a life saver. Not sure why my doctor didn't recommend one but glad I found it on Amazon. Edit after surgery: After hernia surgery, you will not need this belt anymore, which is fine, bc you'll be on the road to recovery. I'm on week 5 post op and here's some tips to get thru it. Days 1-3 are the worst, bending over is an absolute nightmare, so if something drops on floor (like even a sock, etc) I'd recommend having a grabber tool handy, you can get one for $9 on Amazon. Also learn from me bc I had a setback at week 4, I was hunched over to clip my toenails and my lower back went out. Its because they cut thru the deep core abdominal muscles to do the surgery. So just watch out with leaning and bending over. Its technically called acute lumbar back spasm and its excruciating. I'm still healing from the lower back now at week 5. So watch out and use that grabber tool to grab things down low. Raise your foot up to a bench or chair to put shoes on etc. Docs didn't warn me about this but I am. I was healthy/athletic b4 this and meant nothing. Good luck people. You can do this.
