Works great.
Works great but very strong so you need really good ventilation and a fan to air out the garage or any inclosed area you use it in. Really need a filtered mask as well !

Excellent paint prep product.
An excellent product to prep car parts for painting. Used on the block and heads in a car restored in 1973 to remove 50+ years of accumulated grease, dirt, etc. It left an amazingly clean surface for painting.

For good measure, I took a can of microfiber paint ...
I used this as a prep material for a recent touch-up job on my 2016 mustang. Here's what I did: 1.Washed the car with meguiars gold car wash soap. 2.Hand dried with an oversized towel 3.Clay bar'd the car 4. circled the spots on my bumper/hood that were being touched up with a paint pen (simple window paint marker). 5. Sprayed dupli-color prep spray on those areas that I was getting ready to touch up. Just a simple quick burst of the spray and wipe down with a microfiber towel afterwards. 6. For good measure, I took a can of microfiber paint dabbers (the small, tooth-pick like tools that have 1/8 drop of paint capacity) and dipped one or two in some rubbing alcohol, for a final cleaning of the paint chips. 7. dab tiny bit of primer if needed, then dab tiny bit of paint. ...The rest is a matter of building up your paint layers and then leveling properly w/ various sanding blocks (I found wetsanding with 2000 worked well for me and resulted in minimal scratches to clean up in the surrounding paint). polishing the light scratches out will make the touch up spots darn near invisible unless your face is a few inches from the spot and someone points it out to you... This prep-spray worked wonderful for my use. It is much stronger than you would think, and is NOT safe to spray on freshly painted surfaces. I learned this the hard way. After doing my initial base coat on my touch up, I sprayed this on top of it when I let it try (dumb move) and when I went to wipe the surface clean with a towel, I was back to bare metal again with one swipe of a towel. ha! Although you can probably get away with washing the car surface of basic dirt/grime and then using this as a final prep, I still preferred to clay bar the surface first. Depending on how dirty the car is, or how long since it's been detailed, you may find it worth it to do. It will make the finishing part of your project much cleaner, as I found when I started sanding the "blob" down it was extremely light scratches around the area I was working...almost to the point I didn't care about buffing them out (lighter than your standard car wash swirls).
