I've never had jjajang before (just read about them on Korean food blogs or watched videos) and have always been curious as a cat about them. I also noticed that often, jjajang is made with pork, which I completely stay away from. So, I was excited to learn these are vegetarian and will be able to finally try out. And... I love them. Very, very tasty! It's quite spicy, so watch out for that—but personally I love its spiciness. And who wouldn't love the cute little forks they come with. LOL Great find. I will be buying these regularly.

I said portion size is 5 star. When you look in the package it looks like not enough, but I usually use these as a side over grilled chicken in which case it's just right. This is my favorite flavor although the others are good too.

I absolutely love Jjajangmyeon and the idea of a Jjajang tteokbokki sounded interesting. Unfortunately, the sauce tastes odd and not like Jjajang sauce I've tried from restaurants or Korean instant noodles. The rice cakes came out ok - I would stick with another flavor from this brand if you're interested in getting this.

I absolutely love Korean rice cakes. These are so delicious this flavor is fantastic. It has I would say a medium amount of spiciness to it. So if you're sensitive to spicy flavoring proceed with caution. They are a tad expensive.
