Product was exactly as described, easy to put-together & runs like a charm. Whenever the dish runs low on water (due to evaporation) it makes a gurgling sound so it's evident as to when to refill. I've had other automated water dishes in the past, this one is larger (perhaps a bit big for a cat) but would be perfect for a dog. Now the trick is just convincing my cat to drink from it rather than the sink...

Motor gets loud on occasion. Food falls into water pretty easily, but that's more on my cat.

Worked great for a month and a half, until the water side started leaking from underneath. The water stopped being circulated through the bowl as well. I cleaned out the filter and everything else still won't work. Pretty disappointed.

The motor is a little noisy but overall, it is very handy if you have multiple pets.
