i love this bed frame. my boyfriend wanted one where the bed isn't sitting in the frame (if that makes sense) because we kept hitting our shins on my old frame lol. so we looked for ones like this where the bed just sits on top.i was skeptical we would find something that looked nice, not plain and cheap. i really like the design, it looks very nice in our room and i love the wood accent. it looks modern and helps conceal anything you have under the bed. we don't use a bedskirt because my cats would probably destroy it.i really like how high off the ground it is, im 5'3 and i think its much more comfortable than the typical lower height. my boyfriend is 6'7 and fully mobile but he still prefers a higher bed since it's easier to get in and out of, especially for him.i would say it was incredibly easy to set up, did it myself and took me maybe 10 minutes. it comes with a pretty nice ratcheting wrench, so you don't need any other tools.it feels stable, we haven't had any issues where it feels wobbly. it also does NOT squeak or make any noise; i was very afraid it would be. the wood slats have two long pieces of tape on them you can use to stick it to your mattress to make it extra secure. we didn't take the plastic off so our mattress is just sitting on top and it doesn't really slide around at all. we maybe adjust it like an inch or so every week when we clean.i love how much space is under the bed, i can fit a full size suitcase under, and my under the bed storage totes i have can stack!!! my cats also love it under therei really like it :) highly recommend!!

Here's the deal. I love zinus. They've got great ethics, and they put the products together with a lot of care and with good tools. This product, for instance comes with a ratcheting allen wrench. Great respect for their customers.I had trouble with this product. And I got fed up with it and just stuck with what I had. I'm not blaming that on the company though. The company referred me with the 30-day policy back to Amazon, and Amazon attempted to fix my problem by sending me another one. This one however, was another version of the same product. That means that the joints between the arms and the base or the head or not the same type of joint and therefore couldn't allow for an enter change of the damaged part.The part in question, by the way, was a leg of the foot of the bed being damaged in transit. The box came in a terrible condition, and the foot was dented in and had been jammed in a funky way. Not enough to make it unusable but enough to make me want to reach out and try to remedy the situation. I tried this whole process twice, and had the same problem. Just got fed up.I'm glad to believe through correspondence with zinus that I could probably take it up with him now and they would do something about it. But it just doesn't matter enough to me.I'm really happy with zinus, and I recommend their products to you, but be aware that if you have a problem, Amazon may kind of suck at helping you remedy it inside that 30 day window. Zinus would probably help you out after that window, if you contacted them. How do I say this through experience with their customer service, and having three large products of theirs.

It took less time to assemble this than it did to remove it from the packaging. Basically, lay out the components on the floor and insert & tighten 13 bolts and 1 washer - that's it.It arrived in one, large box - about 85 inches long, weighing probably 50 lbs.Regarding the product:- The frame is very sturdy and makes no noise. I read that sometimes there can be some velcro noise (velcro is how the slat spacing is preserved) if the mattress shifts around, but I haven't experienced that.-Lookswise, it matches the photos in the description, and it fits a queen-sized Nectar mattress perfectly.- Pricewise, it's an outstanding value - I haven't experienced another bed frame for just over 100 bucks that is this practical and sturdy.Things to consider if buying this:- Use some BLUE Loctite on the bolts. Even with a metal frame, they can back out over time. Blue Loctite will provide just enough of a bond to prevent that, while still allowing easy disassembly down the road.- This is a metal frame and will scratch a hardwood floor if moved around. I have it on a rug, so there is no problem, and it's easy to move on the rug, if needed, but it doesn't slide around on its own.- There is no headboard on this one, but there is another model on Amazon that is this frame with the headboard, and it's not much more money.Cons:- I suppose the velcro could have better adhesive on the back side, where it sticks to the frame - I found it easy to peel up, but that's about it.
