Review: Perfect for homeschool! - I bought this game to use as part of our homeschooling curriculum. My kids were suspicious of it at first but this game has been a hit for our whole family! We really enjoy it in our game night rotation and it has really helped solidify not only prime numbers but also just all the math facts that our kids need to know. Great quality, easy to learn, and fun for ages 9 - 44!
Review: Great way to strengthen math fact knowledge and learn to think strategically! - I have two boys, ages 9 & 11 who really need to work on memorizing their math facts better, so I thought this game might help. I didn't expect it to be so strategy-based, but that's going to be a good thing. We've only played the game once, and right now my boys aren't using good strategy, and are relying heavily on addition to play the game. I can see that as they play the game with my husband and I more, they are going to see the benefits of thinking strategically and they will want to use more multiplication, division, and subtraction. The first time we played, they mostly just tried to move their pawns forward to win, but by the end they were starting to see that moving forward isn't always the best strategy. I think this game is going to be a lot of fun to play for many years to come. Because of the strategy involved, this isn't just a game to help kids learn their math facts, but a game that helps develop deeper mathematical thinking and the ability to predict several moves ahead, like in chess. My kids don't love the game yet, but I see its potential, and I think they are really going to enjoy it once they get the hang of it. On another note, I have an old board game I got when I was a kid called "X From Outer Space" made by Discovery Toys. I used to like it because of the cute little plastic pawns shaped like aliens flying spaceships and the cute space theme. (I got it around the time of the Challenger explosion, and I was very interested in outer space.) My boys have played it with me a couple of times and liked it, but all it really does is help you learn multiplication. There really isn't any strategy to it at all, so after a while it starts to get boring, and it really holds no challenge for parents, so it's a pretty short-lived family game. While I still enjoy it for kids learning their times tables, Prime Climb is really a much more interesting game and offers more room for growth .

## Questions & Answers

**Q: why is this almost $30 ? from the picture it looks to be just a few pawn pieces, a couple dice and a board ...cost to make this would be like $3??**
A: $30 is average for a board game. Do you complain at the cost of vehicle’s because they don’t cost tens of thousands to make.

**Q: Does a child need to already know multiplication and division to play, or does it teach the concepts?**
A: My 7 year old can play and he's just starting to understand multiplication from the game. I don't know that it teaches it in the way we think of teaching multiplication. For example 12 isn't 6*2 or 4*3, it is 2*2*3. It has been great with my kids working with factors. And my seven year old is putting together math concepts that are pretty advanced, like seeing 6 is 2*3 and then how that relates to 12.

**Q: Is this game fun for adults playing with kids or even adults playing with other adults?**
A: This is a really fun game! I used it in my math class, and the kids had a ton of fun. My son enjoys it as well. It becomes kind of competitive, so probably adults would enjoy.

**Q: Where is this game made?**
A: This game is produced either in China or in Battle Creek, Michigan, depending on the print run.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surprising family favorite
*by J***B on November 6, 2025*

Super fun game that our whole family loves. My kids ask everyone who comes over to play this and many have asked for the link so they can buy it too. This will be one I buy and give for Christmas this year. Total hit! Our family loves it and has played it several times a day. Highly recommend as also would be good for kids who don’t think they like math as involves math but so much fun they forget they are using math.
