A technician at a tire shop recommended Grey Pneumatic tools as a replacement, and after showing me how well some of his two year old sockets were holding up, i decided to buy some of their products. I bought the 1708SN Axle Socket Set and two of their "extra deep 1/2" drive sockets". I am VERY impressed at how they have performed during a front end overhaul on an expedition, and 1993 nissan pickup truck! The sockets are very precisely forged, they show next to no wear, and even the plastic case the set came in is well designed and durable.
