I have been buying this brand of water bottle for many years now. I still give this new water bottle version 5 stars, because it is absolutely the best water bottle we have been able to find. However, the new updates are NOT my fav. Positive: - The bottle body is still made of the same durable tritan material. BPA free. - bottle diameter fits into cup holders and backpack side pockets. - lightweight - the loop for carrying the bottle never breaks. - no straws (straws are icky germ habitats). Just an easily cleanable open chug concept. Note though, that this new lid has a smaller hole for drinking. - we have had several previous Opard bottles where the lid latch had chipped, and could no longer stay shut. Hoping that this new lid shape has a less breakable latch. Negative: - The former bottle, which I have been buying my family for years, had a nice linear modern look. The new flip lid has curves instead of straight lines (see photo). The old style hinge was wider and "sandwiched" the upper lid on both sides. Now there is only one pair of "holes" on each side of the hinge, so the hinge is not as stable and more easily breakable. - The new lid has an air hole to prevent a vacuum while you are drinking. (I never had a problem before.) Because there is an additional hole, they have added an additional seal for the extra hole. In my estimation, additional seals make for additional germ hiding places, so not thrilled to have the added seal here.

Love the ease of the bottle. Easy to carry and clean.

Excellent water bottle. I was able to use this at the airport and it was nice and light for travel.

I’ve been using this bottle daily for a few weeks now and it’s solid. The straw makes it easy to drink from without tilting, and the flip top hasn’t leaked once. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and holds enough water for school or the gym. of course, it's very easy to clean as well and extremely easy to access. The only small downside is the lid sometimes squeaks when closing, but it doesn’t leak. Great value overall.

I really like the lid for this. I can lock it when not in use or traveling. The spout looks small but is the perfect size. The only bad thing I can say about this is the lid has a tiny hole (I dont know why) but if you tip up the bottle in the wrong way fluid will come out of tha tiny hole. But I would still recommend this product.

I took this with me to the airport and used it during a 4-hour flight and an 8-hour layover in Vegas. Go through TSA with it empty and fill it with water afterwards. It's water-tight and secure. Slides into my backpack side pocket no problem. I dropped it a few times with no issues. I only wish I could easily get ice at the airport. EDIT: If there's a Dunkin' Donuts at the airport after you go through TSA, just ask and you can get ice for a nominal charge or free depending on location. EDIT: As far as this bottle, it went from being my favorite to my most hated. The rubber lid gasket disappeared somewhere at the airport on a subsequent trip and the bottle leaked all over my food when not kept upright. The gasket should stay in place and not randomly drop out when refilling. They advertise a "12-Month worry-free warranty" and a leak-proof guarantee, but the vendor has not responded to messages sent via their website. They claim to respond within 12 hours during normal weekdays, but they've not responded at all. Therefore, the manufacturer's warranty claims in this listing are false and misleading. EDIT 2: Back to 5 stars. After waiting over 4 weeks, Opard finally responded to my email and honored their warranty by sending out a brand new replacement bottle.

The bottle is sleek and light weight and a great look/size/weight to carry around. However after one week of using it is now leaking

I just purchased this waterbottle for my son. It is a great size to fit in most backpacks. It includes a lock to prevent it from accidentally opening and leaking. The spout is a decent size to fit most kids' mouths. It also includes measurements for how much liquid is left. Also has a little hook for carrying. Only one problem, it's not dishwasher safe so meaning you'll have to wash by hand. Great product, would purchase again in the future if needed!

Update: Bought 2 more. They ‘upgraded’ the bottle to cheaper plastic. The ‘handle’ is very frail. The lock is terribly designed and hard to engage. The spout is smaller and feels like drinking from a baby bottle. Disaster. Nice bottle. Looks good, holds 600ml. Drinks like a bottle instead of a sippy cup, which was important. Fits nicely into my work vehicle cup holder. Also a big deal. Durability to be determined, but happy so far.

I really like the bottle for the easy open lid and easy to clean.
