Needed to blackout a couple velux windows to use in baby’s room at home but didn’t want to spend a fortune. Considered making my own but thought I’d give these a go first.Am happy with the quality - the material feels heavy duty & the blinds are well made. Have been pleasantly surprised by the ease of fitting/removing on a daily basis, although I do find the suction cups need to be dampened to stay on the window for any length of time.The thermal lining is also pretty good at reflecting the sunshine, so the room is kept cool & dark.I would buy these blackout blinds again & a magnetic attachment option would be good, to make it easier for daily use at home.

Bought this product as a potential solution to block out car lights at night on a small window on a interior door.It does the job just fine , however needed to put on the side of the glass door that was smooth as the other side was frosted and the suckers would not stick

Bought this to go up a window in a room that doubles as a study/spare bedroom.Size was perfect and the blackout is excellent but the suckers just wouldn’t stay up. In the end I bought some command hooks and stuck them in place so I could just hook the blind up when I needed as it has eyelets around the edge.

Bought these for temporary use - fabric great but suction cups useless. Having to find an alternative way to hang them now

Love these. Really stick well and are good and heavy. Easy to put up and take down and also great to take away on hols to use to keep sunlight out

The product size was as I selected when ordering. You stick 6 suckers onto the window, and the sheet has 6 eyelets which go over the rubbery pinions on the sucker units. I stuck this to a 45 degree sloped velux window, and it has not fallen down in 5 months. It is reflective on one side black on the other side, so the reflective side can face outwards to keep light and heat out. It does a great job of this and I could not be happier. There was 1 spare sucker. Once the eyelets are threaded onto the suckers, it is possible to wrangle it back off, with difficulty. Or of course you could take the suckers off the window. Make sure the glass is clean before commencing.

As a blackout blind this does a good job. The only issue that I have is the placement of the suction cups. If your windows is divided in half by a frame that goes on top of the double glazing unit, then the suction cup is right on the frame and there isn't enough area for them to stick too. Without the middle sucker the blind wouldn't stay attached to the window frame.I used a rubber band through each of the 4 corners and looped them over the window frame and it works great.So, depending on your window you may need to make some alterations to get it to stay attached. The material does stop the light from coming through.

I thought i had the exact measurement, but who knows. Anyhow, it was a few centimeters to small unfortunately.The fabric is really good though, its very thick and stabile. Good quality!The suction cups needed a tiny drop of water to stay put, and then they were really strong.(I washed the window first ofcourse.).I have nothing negative to say about this, i think its really good value for the money!I might have to fix the gaps which lets the light in, as i need it to be pitch black in the bedroom, but other than that, im really happy with this!

No matter what we try, at least one of the suction cups will fail after a couple of hours making it effectively useless.

Sticks well to the window! I use it on a roof window and works perfectly. The only thing is it's just a tiny little bit smaller than the glass of the window and a bit of light comes from this discrepancy, but otherwise is a great shade
