Gun Rack Rifle/Shotgun Rack, Portable, black

Easy to set up & take down. I can pack it away in a corner, or hang it from a couple of hooks on the wall, and when I need to use it it unfolds in a couple of seconds.The wire is sturdy and I expect to get years of service from mine.I currently own 4 of these, and use them during the summer season at a Boy Scout camp. The fact that they are portable and sturdy makes them ideal for my use. In my situation, I have limited space and limited security for storage of firearms at my ranges. These give me the ability to store my guns at the cabin, then drive to the ranges daily for quick set-up before classes begin. These will also be handy for NRA Basic & State Hunter Education classes this Fall.Product description: Heavy gauge wire construction. The front & back hinge open in an "A" frame configuration, and a "basket" drops down at the base to cradle the butts of the guns. The wire is coated to help protect the guns from any potential accidental "scarring" by the frame. The top of the rack is scalloped so as to cradle the barrels or fore-ends of the stocks. Each rack holds 4 rifles, shotguns, or muskets.

I needed a shotgun rack to place outdoors in the trap field, Because of wind, rail and the sun I was either goingto have to make it with something like cedar of find something manufactured. I found the Versatile Rack right under my nose.It makes things more organized of the trap field, as I have found to my astonishment that some people with $2,000-$4,000 shotgun just don't like laying in the grass.Very well designed and constructed the only extra you need is some type of stake to stake it down if you life in a windy area.

As others have stated it seems on the high side in cost however the rack is a thick gauge wire with a heavy plastic coating. Folds up easy and is very portable whether to the range or to use as a stand when removing long guns from the safe. When you invest money in long guns you want something sturdy to hold them. This is the rack to have.

This is great when you have to take a few things out of the safe to get to the one you want in the back. No more finding spots around the room the rest my rifles. Folds up and slides right next to my safe.

This is a great storage solution for my rifles and shotguns. It sets up in seconds and is very sturdy and portable. I am very pleased with this purchase.
