I absolutely love the taste and ingredient lineup of this protein. It is a little more expensive than other vegan proteins, but the taste is unbeatable for a plant based option. I keep both the chocolate and vanilla Vega around at all times, but I prefer the chocolate. For anyone just starting out with a vegan protein, Vega is the way to go. All of the Vega shake and smoothie powers are very palatable even for those who are picky. The Vega bars are delicious too.My fiance and I also keep Warrior Blend stocked at our house regularly, but this protein is more of a complete nutritional shake replacement, rather than just a protein and I think that the taste of this is much more appealing to a wider variety of tastebuds. This shake contains a good lineup of vitamins and minerals, as well as enzymes and probiotics, which makes it that much easier to remember to take those on a regular basis. Since it is a little bit costlier than the other proteins, I cut back to having a shake every other day instead of every day. One scoop of this mix gives you 20 grams of protein, where most others it takes two scoops to get the same amount. I mix mine in a smoothie with other ingredients in the morning and am set for my two hour hike without any hunger pains.
