Great product. Sturdy. Nice coloring. If you are installing by yourself, be quick! I used the cut dimensions mentioned in another review ((.85*(hole to hole))+1), drilled holes in the vinyl 1/2 inch in from ends. Boiled for 10 minutes. secured one end, weaved through existing straps and tried to overstretch enough to secure the second end easily, but it cooled too quickly to allow me to affix it. final solution was to get a heat gun and keep the vinyl hot throughout the process. Not super easy, but do-able for a single person. Also, the product was too thick for double wrapping in my case so I am speaking of a single wrap install.

Had a set of 4 older patio/deck chairs that had finally reached the point of being unusable with the original, dry rotted, some missing straps. I had to get 2 rolls of this stuff to get all 4 chairs done, and had almost enough left to do a 5th if I needed to.

This is a quality vinyl strap, about double the thickness on the broken strap it replaced. Having said that, due to the thickness, the cut and ready peace must be installed immediately after removing it from the boiling water as it quickly becomes hard to stretch. I was too slow on the first attempt, so put it back into the boiling water and moved faster on the second attempt and was successful. I found it works easier to remove the broken strap and tape it back together, then place the new material on top of it to mark the length and holes.

This is a high quality replacement vinyl strap that I used to reinforce deck furniture which has cushions which sit on top of straps. I added these straps inside the gaps of my existing straps which were starting to sag. They worked great once I learned how to install them. Because these straps are thick, use a single wrap method, not double wrap. I asked the seller for instructions and got the pdf that I have added to my review as photos. My chairs are better than new after installing these. I also ordered the plastic rivets from the same supplier.

Perfect replacement strap if you know that boiling is 212f. I don’t know why I was thinking it was 132 but I had to boil (ok heat) it three times. Before realizing boiling water was 212 which then worked perfectly. However I had bruises on my arms for a week when it wasn’t actually boiled before trying to install. You really need to stretch this around the frame which is why it is SO important to BOIL for a couple of minutes. Check out ‘patio chair vinyl strap replacement’ on google.

Very heavy duty works well

I found this product very difficult to work with compared to other similar products that I've used in the past. It came without instructions (cutting length instructions), found it to be very stiff with very little stretch. I've done several other replacement projects in the past that were a breeze, with more satisfactory results, compared to this product. Would not recommend!

Easy to work with if you followed the instructions. Used it on our porch furniture.
