Robert's Radio R300BK Revival Radio (Black)

This radio works well in the USA. Nice "old school" cabinet covered in leather. Looks great. Better than normal reception and sound is great. Large easy to read dial, clear controls. Runs on D size batteries with a long battery lifetime. It also comes with an AC adapter that works on US mains, 120 volts, plugs right in. A note here, the D cell battery option is for "The New Revival" the older unit the "Revival" runs on a hard to find 276 9 volt battery, much larger than a normal 9 volt we are used to seeing, but available in the USA. If you want a very nice AM/FM and long wave portable this is a good choice.

Terrific sound, nice and chunky and solid and I use it outside when I do the garden. I use mine on the battery but it also plugs into the wall.Mine is red and when not in use, it sits by the front door in case I have to leave the house in a hurry.In CA one never knows when we'll have a fire, an earthquake or mudslide so I keep this little radio with my evacuation kit.

Looks good. Sound is adequate. Not enough bass. The tunning is good. Batteries last a good amount.

💕 LOVE 💕 Wanted a Roberts Radio for years and years. The duck egg blue was what was on my wish list, but it was always sold out and double the price, I finally took a chance on the pastel pink as a heavy hint to better half for my Birthday and it Gorgeous. All with beautiful gold finishes to compliment the classic design. Included also with Royal appointment seals on the top, making it ever so posh (lovemy mate Marmite and Colmans English Mustard) so the Royal appointment seals on something I don’t want to eat is well appreciated. Now this is sold by Dimplex, the box says Designed and Engineered in Great Britain. ( I read on other reviews this was made in China, but if there was a sticker, or confirmation of such, I have yet to find it) , all of the alarms and features work. I am not tech savy at all and was easily very able to follow the simple directions to change the time and date, and add a favorite station. The sound is just great accross the room, daughter thinks it sounds rough when you turn it up to the max, which is not what I wanted this for. I was looking for a background radio to have at work. I just absolutely fell in love with this when it arrived. So much prettier in person. Swoon 💗💕my new favorite item. Don’t hesitate this is a steal of a deal for the pink. Yes it came with an American Plug, picks up all kinds of FM 📻 local stations which is all I needed this for and will take D batteries, I think 4 and you get 100 plus hours from that. Chuffed to bits, thank you.

Besides the retro design, it’s easy to use and sounds great. I can easily move it to whatever room I’m working in.
