1" Thick Natural Woven Coco Coir Doormat, 18" x 30", Heavy-Duty Entrance Mat for Front Door, Entryway & Porch

This coir mat is thick and has a woven back. We've had some in the past that were thinner and had a black backing. the black backing stained the stone (different doorway). I have purchased others like these and they last very well if they are kept out of the rain. So use them in protected areas from the weather. This one in particular was perfect for my larger sliding glass door.

Although, I just put it out, the quality looks very good. It’s thick and looks sturdy. I’m anxious to see how it holds up!

Nice quality, but not as heavy/thick as I expected. I was surprised that the "backing" was not whT i expected.

Mine is getting a bit worn at the edges, but I can see, to my shock, that I bought it seven years ago. So that is about three or four bucks a year, which seem fair. I would call it a good buy!

These coco coir doormats are large, thick and seem very well-made. I bought two of them. I like that there is no rubber or plastic at all, just beautiful, tightly woven, 1" thick natural fiber. These thick mats do a much better job cleaning shoes and trapping dirt than the recycled rubber mats, or even the thin coco coir mats that are integrated with a rubber base. The size (36" wide, 22" deep) is perfect for most front and back doors, but may be too wide for some uses -- be sure to measure your area if you are not certain.

Like these matts as they work great for shoes before house enter. They do wear out over time but bristles just best way to clean bottom of a shoe. This one especially thick and I like that. No tripping over it yet but might be possible.

The mat width dimension varied by as much as 1/2 inch on each end of the sixty inch mat: 23 1/2 inch at one end and 24 inch at the other.

This 100% natural coconut husk door mat is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It has a thick, dense weave that will last a long time. I chose it over all the door mats at WalMart that though they had some natural material, often were overlaid with synthetic dyes, and were glued onto a plastic or synthetic rubber backing. It is the artificial base of the mats that smelled bad to me. The chemicals outgassed. The 100% Natural Coco Doormat can be flipped from one side to the other, while most other mats can't. I bought this for standing on while at a computer terminal. I stand barefoot on it and the coconut husks gently stimulate my feet. And if you know about the importance of walking barefoot on the grass or the sand, this mat allows for GROUNDING of your energy because there is nothing artificial under your feet. So I get that regenerative electron flow from the earth to boost my health. Yes, the thing does shed, but so would any such material not held together by plastics and other synthetic binders as all competing mats have. I have a little hand held Dyson V8 vacuum that I whisk around the mat every few days. Not a problem. Love this mat!
