Fits my generic digital camcorder. Seems well made and probably does it's job ok. Could be slightly larger as I put a uv filter on and then this hood but the camera catches a corner of the hood unless the hood is turned 45 degrees. Might be where the sensor is placed in the camera, just have to use without the uv filter or presumably any lens that spaces the hood away from the camera.

This may look as a fake lens but it actually prevent light like the sun light to make a glare on you lens
