Red Devil 0637 Acrylic Asphalt Crack Filler Sealant

Works great, high quality and easy to apply.

This is the only reliable product to fill cracks and crevices in asphalt. I've used this before with excellent long lasting results. But earlier this year I purchased a gallon of liquid crack filler which turned out to be a total waste of money. The results of that liquid filler is shown in the first picture and the Red Devil chaulk repair in the second. When I seal the entire driveway the color will be uniform with no evidence of a crack.

I recently used the Red Devil Asphalt Crack Filler Sealant and overall had a really good experience with it. The application process was simple and straightforward, and it did exactly what I needed in sealing up cracks in my driveway. One thing I noticed is that there isn’t a lot of product in the tube, so if you have multiple or larger cracks, you may need to grab more than one. For best results, I highly recommend applying it on a hot day. The product spreads much easier and goes on smoother when the surface is warm. I also learned the hard way not to use it an hour or two before the sun goes down you won’t get a good spread, and it becomes harder to work with as temperatures drop. Overall, it’s a solid product that gets the job done, just make sure to plan your timing and weather conditions right for the best outcome.

This is so easy to apply. There is no mess and clean up is quick and easy. Warm water and dish soap and no scrubbing. I’m buying more.

IT works really well and fills the driveway cracks smooth. It even did a great job smoothing out the 1" step up our driveway has from the street. For best results I got some cheap silicone spatulas to spread it smooth. They work great and are a back saver. At about $4 a tube it's much cheaper than having the whole driveway resealed.

Arrived on time. Good product. Easy to apply and skins over quickly so it doesn't stick to anything. Looks like asphalt. Remains flexible. Would recommend.

This crack filler arrived quickly and was easy to apply. It also dried fairly quickly, and we did not drive over it til positive it was fully dried. Since we have two driveways, I ordered 8 of these. They seemed to fill the smaller cracks easily, and I used a backer on the larger cracks before covering with the sealant. All was well in the summer but once colder temperatures arrived, some of the cracks are now cracked again. Interestingly, the smaller cracks (1/8 and 1/4 inch) are the ones that didn't hold up. The larger ones that I used the backer on before putting down the crack filler are OK so far, even though we've had some really low temperatures, snow and ice.

A reviewer wrote that this flows into cracks, what I received did not flow at all. It was very squishy but did not flow down into cracks, had to scrape it flat. Looks good so far otherwise.

Easy to apply. Dries faster than advertised. Goes on with a blue grey colour but dries black. Seals well. No complaints.

It is very easy to use,water resistant,I have only just used it so will have to wait for final result,but looking good so far,and easily washes off,with soap and water.

This product blends in nicely with the asphalt because of its textured flat finish. The colour is dark grey when wet but it dries flat black. There is still flexibility to the product even when fully cured. This should handle the freeze thaw cycle better than the rigid crack filler. Deeper cracks ~ 1" will take several days to fully cure although the surface dries within 24 hrs. Tips: 1. Use a stiff wire brush followed by a soft bristle brush to thoroughly clean out the area ( even if you pressure wash or blow the surface with a leaf blower). This will facilitate maximum adhesion. 2. Use a drywall knife or putty knife to blend the caulk with surrounding asphalt. 3. Try and remove all vegetation in the crack by the root because they will grow through this product before it fully cured. Update 3 yrs on: does not hold up well to Canadian freeze/thaw cycles. The product became brittle and flaked out of the crevices. Removed 2 stars

Easy to use, spreads easily with a putty knife. Used it to patch some cracks in my asphalt driveway to prevent water from entering and expanding when freezing temperatures come. A bit on the expensive side but would still recommend!

I applied it to a crack across my driveway. A tube was enough for about 4-5 meters. It took a few days to completely harden while the top layer dried in about one hour, so you have a few minutes to apply and spread with a putty knife (I spread to the sides too to improve the adherence). When dry, it looks like dark asphalt with a sand-mixed texture. If you have old asphalt that is already grey, the colour will not match. Thumbs up, please, if you found it useful.
