Can this vacuum be use on hardwood floor

No. A rotating brush will damage a polished hardwood floor and there is no means to turn the brush of on this machine as there on some top of the line uprights. It is also rough on the bristles of the rotating brush.

Does it come assembled?

It does NOT come assembled, but the assembly is so incredibly easy that anyone can do it in less than 5 minutes.

How do I exchange the filter?

The filter is located next to bag. Please follow the instruction book: To remove the exhaust filter push the catch (33) backward and remove the filter cover (34) and filter. Insert the new filter and replace the filter cove.

How do l fix the height adjusting sensor? Brush isn't raising or lowering.

The Windsor s12 does not have an automatic height adjustment. It is a manual adjustment that is made by turning the knob on the right side of the vacuum head. The XP12 does automatically adjust the brush height.
