This has worked great on my hands! Lip balm, I know. BUT sometimes you accidentally find the best ways to use things when you use them in a way they weren't meant to be used. And actually, you can use this balm for a multitude of reasons, including makeup primer according to the uses listed, so it's multi-faceted. And the stick is big enough that you can rub it on other areas of the body. Now, it's winter and we all know how rough our skin can get this time of year- so here's the good part. When I tell you that the skin on my hands cracks and gets rough patches on them this time of year, I mean that literally. However, I rubbed this balm on my hands, and I am not going back. It knocked out the dryness in two days. Coco butter is not strong enough for this time of year, but this product worked for me! It is greasy, but that helps it to easily glide on and makes it to where you don't have to use a lot, plus it absorbs into the skin quickly leaving the skin feeling smooth. I was going to return it because I didn’t like it as lip balm, which was the reason I bought it, but once I saw it worked better and faster than anything else I was using on my hands and that it could be used as makeup primer as well, it's a mainstay. And the ingredients are good ingredients. I have high melanin dark skin. And I say that because sometimes the more melanin you have in your skin, the more it may dry in the winter, so this product helped with that level of winter dryness : )

This is my third purchase of the Sweet Bee Naturals Magic Wand, and it’s become a permanent part of my routine. I originally found it at Natural Grocers and was immediately impressed by the quality. The ingredients are clean and organic, the product lasts a long time, and the scent is absolutely lovely—soft and natural without being overpowering. Living in a dry climate, and dealing with chapped lips from both medications and long-wear lip products, I’ve tried just about everything out there. This is the only balm I’ve found that genuinely heals, not just masks the dryness. It’s deeply restorative, and I especially love using it at night. By morning, my lips (and even the skin around them) feel noticeably smoother and more hydrated. As someone past menopause, I also appreciate how nourishing this is for mature skin. It’s hard to find something this natural that actually works. Highly recommend making this part of your nighttime regimen.

I really like that I can use this on my lips and skin, and most of because it is all natural. Someone said in a review that it's heavy and greasy, but it's not. I used my finger to apply some to my lips and the T zone on my face, and then wiped my finger with a tissue, and it left no greasy residue behind. It feels light to me, and it's humid out right now! I don't detect any odor or fragrance, and a little goes a long way! I will definitely buy it again.

This stuff works great. There is a slight grit when you first apply it but it goes away fast. No artificial flavorings and stays on well.

I have dry and sensitive lips and tried multiple lip balms, this one is the best overall. My lips tend to be dry in winter times, and most lip balms I used are either not hydrating enough or caused sensitivity after a while. I found Medicine Mama’s Sweet Bee at Costco about four or five years ago, and I was amazed at its result. It moisturizes my lips immediately and keeps my lips hydrating the whole time. It never gives me sensitivity. It does not have fragrance, which I think is a great thing for sensitive lips like mine. Price is great. Just perfect product! I think the effect of this lip balm is comparable to the one I used many years ago from Clé de Peau Beauté, but cost only a fraction of it! Unbelievable. The other lip balm I love is the one in blue package from Clarins. The second best lip balm I used is L'Occitane Ultra-Rich, it’s almost perfect except it has a little bit fragrance in it. LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask was great at first, then it made my lips burned after I use it for while. I also tried some popular cheap lip balms from drugstores, unfortunately, none of them works for me.

Made my lips peel and crack badly by the end of the first day. By midway through second day of use I had to stop using it, as it my lips were too painfully cracked and peeling to continue. Not moisturizing, calming or soothing to my lips. Took 2 days to recover.

I am in search for the perfect lip balm. I love the jumbo size this one comes in but it is a little too oily.

This is the second time I've gotten this product. It's just perfect for around my eyes before I put concealer and also at night as a moisturizer. It is kind of the consistency of vaseline but a little thicker. goes on very smooth - not sticky and no tiny little sandy feeling particles like a lot of others I've tried. Excellent price, too! December 2025: Update! I changed my review from 5 stars to 4. Unfortunately I have had a couple of experiences with grittiness. The last one I ordered had a slight rancid odor as well as being quite a bit lighter in color. I returned it and got a replacement, but the replacement is also lighter in color and still a slightly rancid odor, maybe not quite as bad as the one before. They must have changed the formula for it to be a different color? So disappointing when quality control isn’t like it was and good tried and true formulas are changed. I’m keeping it because other than a slightly unpleasant odor, it basically works as well as in my first review.
