Best springer on the market
Probably the best spring pistol on the market. Pros: accurate replica, metal slide, smooth action, nice trigger, shoots best with .20 BBs, 100 percent hit rate at 50 feet on human size target. Can get hits out to 85 feet, albeit with less consistency. Cons: can’t think of any! I like springers because they are cost effective. I shoot a LOT and got tired of the expensive blow back guns breaking and the added cost of CO2. Springers are an economical alternative, provided you get a good one. Some are junk. This one is top quality from Umarex!

Fine for Airsoft games, also makes a good teaching prop
I like this Airsoft soft pistol and recommend it with a several observations. My adult son put this on the wishlist for my older teen grandson; he uses it for Airsoft games and competitions with his friends. Some thoughts: - I am a stickler for safety, particularly when it comes to things like firearms, guns that aren’t firearms but are still “guns,” motorcycles, boats, other motor sports, and anything generally recognized as carrying excess risk. Always participate in a safe manner. My grandson always uses a safety mask with this that includes eye protection along with heavy clothing. I used this to teach the little ones the same basic message that I taught my adult children when they were little, and they still remember to this day; particularly important if they are visiting a friend and we may not know if they have firearms in the house. The little ones learn, if you see a gun: Stop, Don’t Touch, Leave the Area, Tell an Adult. They learn this message in a few minutes, and repeated for a few days, they don’t forget it. I ask them again about once every month or two and they remember with the repetition. With this Airsoft gun, I hung up blue jeans and a flannel shirt on hangers outside, I sent several pellets into the clothing from a range of 5 feet. Every pellet bounced off, the basic clothing was protective, that was good. I still recommend wearing at least a jacket over a shirt during Airsoft games with this. I still recommend observing firearm safety principles in general with this, and this gun can be used as a teaching prop for that purpose. Airsoft guns in general are not very accurate past about 15 feet or so, so I’m not attempting to rate accuracy, but having used a few of these, this strikes me as average accuracy. My grandson really likes this. With the exception of the bright orange tip, it looks like a real gun, I wish it looked a little less like a real gun, but the realistic looks may also be part of the appeal for some buyers. So for what it is, as an Airsoft gun for older teens and young adults, with appropriate safety precautions, and as a teaching prop, I think this is very good overall; in addition, reasonably priced.

Great gun for its price range!
I'm no stranger to spring pistols. This Umarex H&K P30 is easily one of the most solid, and durable spring pistols I have owned. The metal slide has a nice smooth finish, and with the weight this gun feels good in your hand. Racking the slide is always an enjoyable experience, smooth action and strong springs make for a satisfying *clink* as the slide slams forward.(simply put it sounds like the real thing) Features an open ejection port and slide lock, in my opinion a requirement for any decent spring pistol, both look and function great. I must comment on the build quality of this pistol, this is one of the most solid, durable, spring airsoft pistols i have ever used. This gun does not 'creak' whatsoever and the seams on the plastic (bottom) half of the gun are near invisible. Also the textured grips feel satisfying to the hand. Functionality i dont know the fps of this pistol but for apprx.20$ it meets if not exceeds expectations, and the bbs included with the gun actually seem to be of decent quality. Trust that this gun is at least as accurate (likely more imo) than any other in its price range. Now everything I do not like about this gun: No functioning hammer. It does not move at all. I knew this before purchasing and this is usually an issue for me, Magazine is extremely light- this probably isn't so much of a "con" i do not see this magazine breaking from drops at any time. I suppose I'm used to weighted mags, and in fact this mag WILL drop out when the switch is pressed as it should* *Occasionally the mag will not drop and you will have to pull it out, followed by a single loose bb that was somewhere it shouldnt have been(this gun has never "jammed" in use) Also as others have noted the pin that attaches the mag release to the trigger guard occasionally migrates out (about a mm or 2) be mindful. This gun does of course have a safety, but it is on the right side of the gun directly above the trigger. Not a huge deal but I like these guns for the "replica" aspect and that hurts it a bit. **buyers note** If you intend to remove or mask the blaze orange tip be warned, it is not easily removed. it is glued in between the inner and outer barrel. If you try to "pry" it off like on other guns, it will break off unevenly, exposing the inner barrel, surrounded by glue/bits of orange plastic, shrouded by the outer barrel, and it will look ugly :) Painting, or cutting/filing down the "extra barrel" is your best bet. Despite the few flaws that make this pistol (imo) less than replica (and I would buy another). I do not regret purchasing this gun one iota. If you're looking for a gun in the 20-30 dollar range you need to buy this gun.
