Canon Genuine 120 Black Toner Cartridge Compatible with D1100 Series, D1300 Series, D1500 Series

This review is for Canon 120 Cartridge for Canon imageCLASS D1100 Series. As I have found with all the Canon products I've owned, these are rather expensive, but are of excellent quality. Having owned other, less expensive, and having been disappointed by them, I always opt for a Canon poduct if one is available in my price range. The toner, of course, is part of the bargain. I never use non-Canon toner. While expensive, I feel the quality of the outcome is worth the price. I would, and do, recommend Canon to anyone considering a printer / copier purchase.

My copier that uses this cartridge has been reasonably reliable to last for 5 years before a replacement was necessary. I didn't need to print too often, but sometimes printed in bigger quantities when so. Has worked in a small office setting in the past. As things keep updating or "updating", I cannot speak to what cartridges handle bigger bulks better. Any printer/copier using this cartridge seems like it would still be suitable for small offices or personal use.

Price was good compared to some other places. The print quality is good as well. I'm not sure about the longevity but so far it's fine. I purchased it for the printer at my son's school.

The product purchased is a bit more expensive than others available on Amazon marketplace. I don't know how is the quality of the others, but I'm very happy with this product.It's sturdy, reliable, and it went for thousand and thousand of prints. Quality of the printed material is very good, and I could not tell the differences between this product and the original Canon cartridge.

It cost too much but it is worth it since the printer is so fast. I always worry that the printer will break leaving an expensive toner cartridge not used. ( the cartridge costs more than the printer. ( of course the printer was used when I bought it)). Sure is neat to print a page a second.

With thsi cartidge, one doesn't get the error indication that occurs with a knock-off cartidge.

The toner cartridge that was delivered to me is a defective one. I would give no stars if I could. I needed a new cartridge for a special project. After inserting this new cartridge in the Canon printer/copier, I printed out the document I needed. Was shocked to see that each page had horizontal dark ink lines in several locations on each page. I tried it again; same result. I cleaned the copier of any ink that might be on the inside of the printer/copier. Tried printing again; same result. I printed another unrelated document. It came out the same with black ink lines all across the page. I reinserted the older, former cartridge that I still had nearby. The ink was fainter because that cartridge was nearly empty, but the printed words were printed clearly and with no dark ink lines across the page. That is how I know that the cartridge is defective and of poor quality. It is not of the quality that real Canon toner cartridges are. I am very disappointed, and I really hesitate to order anything else from Amazon.
