Great Sampler Pack, Totally Hooked!
Yellow Bird made it to my top five favorite hot sauce brands from the second I tried it. Some sauces I liked much more than others, so I’ll try to make this review as helpful as possible. Habanero Condiment: This one was my favorite and I use it the most. It definitely draws inspiration from the original carrot habanero sauce, Marie Sharp, but it’s still very unique in flavor and absolutely delicious. It’s not very spicy, so I tend to use a lot when I want to add noticeable heat to a dish, but what makes it stand out is it’s full bodied flavor. It truly is a condiment that can be used as often as ketchup, just with slight spice to it. Overall very good, I continue to purchase it. Blue Agave Sriracha: My second favorite, a very delicious take on a classic sriracha. It definitely draws inspiration from Mexican ingredients, but the actual flavor profile still fits that of a sriracha sauce. It’s very unique and intriguing, it really balances the key elements of a sriracha while using a few atypical ingredients. I still purchase this sauce. Serrano Condiment: A pretty solid take on verde sauce, has a full bodied flavor like the rest of the sauces and adds some crisp, fresh flavor to foods. I love this one on most Latino foods as the flavor combinations tend to blend really well together. It’s definitely mild but still pretty good. Jalapeño Condiment: Not bad at all, but not spectacular. This sauce is the most condiment like, not very spicy and not incredibly complex, but very delicious and provides a staple flavor in sauces. This sauce I used on numerous things, just because it isn’t the most exciting doesn’t mean it isn’t very tasty, and I still enjoyed it very much. Ghost Pepper Condiment: The only one I didn’t like, the spice was still very weak and the flavor was unpleasant. It’s hard to describe the taste, but it wasn’t nearly as aromatic or sophisticated as the other sauces. I wanted a very spicy, flavorful sauce but unfortunately this one fell short. It’s probably the only sauce I would not purchase again from Yellow Bird. I hope this review was helpful in helping you pick out a good sauce!

Don't let the company name Yellow Bird fool you
Starting with the obvious, back to reorder already (originally bought in early December). Only commenting on two because we haven't opened the Serrano version yet. And that is because we have our normal go to already on hand and then added these to compare head to head. We also make our own basic hot sauces and tried some of the kits (reviews coming with them). All of the Yellow Bird sauces are a very nice consistency, not runny like Tabasco sauce, not smelling or tasting vinegar, yet not too sweet...and got some heat. Everyone varies in taste and heat tolerance. Even in this family and then some peppers might be the same heat, but one does more just because you are not used to it. Some think these are warm, others hot, but good is the unanimous assessment. Running off at the fingers (mouth) below, so quick, Yellow Bird is well worth trying. Compared to traditional Sriracha fermented sauce - there are things traditional just works better in, like traditional dishes. For everything else the Yellow Bird Blue Agave Sriracha is mainly being grabbed by my Asian wife. Flavor is great, not as directly hot as the traditional and can be cut down with ketchup or BBQ sauce for those kids that have a low heat tolerance. Personally, eggs and taters, fried shrimp and that is directly, but also to spice up the cocktail Sause, marinades, etc. My wife is out of the room, so safe to say, I found my go to Sriracha sauce here. I am sure the Blue Agave has the added taste profile I like, but she grabs it as well and hence already ordering more. The pack came with their Habanero sauce and this was going to be the go to until my son took the bottle home to add to his kitchen. Features one of the hotter peppers, but will not melt your face or anything since it is very nicely balanced and towards an awesome flavor experience over heat. If you like the melt your faces off heat, this would be a great to mix so the end result has flavor. You will know it is a hot sauce, but the flavor is what will make you stop and add some more. The bottles need to be mentioned. They are squeezable and the top that comes with it has basically the perfect size opening to apply as a condiment. The top comes off and squeeze out a couple of table spoons to add to the spaghetti sauce or something. The yellow cap over the tip stays on very well if pushed on tight. No twisting and hoping you have it closed. Even with a couple of times dropped, no big mess. Nice enough that these are going to be reused since, as mentioned, we like to try and make our own sauces. Main thing for those that live with kids and big dogs (bid dogs tend to have big tails, big happy dogs tent to wag those big hard tails) neither one can destroy these bottles.

A very nice collection of pepper condiments
These are not classic hot sauces, they are accurately labeled as pepper condiments. I love hot sauce and have tried a lot, but bought these because they looked more interesting than sauces that only bring the heat and they are. If you are looking for extra-hot, "challenging" sauces, these are not for you. All have a fresh taste and are easy on the vinegar. My favorites were the habenero (orange) and serrano (green/verde) sauce. The habenero has a carrot base and a balanced kick. I find this to be spicier and more interesting than the ghost pepper sauce, which has a fairly boring tomato base and the ghost peppers are very low in the ingredients. This would definitely be better with a more interesting base, maybe as a mole sauce? I thought the serrano would be a smokier sauce, as that is what I usually think of with serranos, but it is a cucumber based green sauce with a very sour kick. I would repurchase these two. The jalapeno is pretty standard, a classic, fresh sauce, the mild jalepenos making the base of the sauce. Finally, the agave siracha, which tastes like your classic Hoy Fung "cock" sauce with a sweetness from the agave. The packaging and the Yellowbird story is very cute and the set would make a nice gift, not really for millions+ Scoville fanatics, but any foodie types in your circle.

Expires in 4 months
I love all the Yellowbird products, very zesty and delicious but, I will never order this product again from Amazon. Nothing wrong with the product but I received it in December, 2025, but its expiration date is April 2026, I ordered them as a gift but can’t give to someone if it expires before someone can possibly use it, so I’ll keep it and go to a regular store where I can see when it expires…I know you can keep a sauce long after its expiration date, but if giving as a gift, doesn’t look good…but, the sauces are great!!!!

Great sauces
Bought these for my sons and one loved them all. The other could not handle the Ghost Pepper, so he gave it to his brother....so everybody was happy.

Delicious!
Oh, hot sauce lovers, gather 'round because have I found a treat for you! 🌶️ I recently dived into the Yellowbird Organic Hot Sauce Variety Set, and let me tell ya, it's a spicy journey worth embarking on. Firstly, being a bit of a health nut, I'm always on the prowl for organic options, and this one? Chef's kiss Organic AND tasty? Yep, Yellowbird has made it possible. Now, let's break it down: Sriracha: Classic with a twist. Unlike those generic Sriracha brands, this one has a depth of flavor that's rich and tangy, without overpowering the taste buds. Serrano: Green, zesty, and with a fresh kick that makes you want to drizzle it over everything from tacos to your morning eggs. Seriously, it's that good. Habanero: Oh boy! If you're looking to up the ante on the heat scale, this one's got your back. But what I love most is that it's not just heat for the sake of heat. It's got this fruity undertone that makes it stand out. Now, let's talk money. With the sheer number of hot sauces in the market, you'd think finding a good one wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Unfortunately, most of the affordable ones compromise on flavor or quality. Not Yellowbird. Their variety set is competitively priced, and when you factor in the organic ingredient list and the unmatched taste, it's well worth every penny. Bottom line: If you want a hot sauce that respects your health, taste buds, and wallet, then fly over to Yellowbird. Your pantry (and your taste buds) will thank you. 🔥🐤 #SpiceItRight
