14 Colours Acrylic Paint

Since the dreaded covid-19 struck, it gave me the opportunity to return to painting after many years where a busy life got in the way. I have produced umpteen airbrush and gouache painting, which have improved, the more I produced. Then one day on YouTube I chanced upon some videos about acrylic paint “pouring” and was intrigued. I am not entirely sure that acrylic pouring is “art”, but it looks good. Firstly I bought myself some ready mixed “pouring” acrylics, but rapidly got through those. So I decided to but these ones that come in almost industrial quantities, but are far too thick for pouring... so with the addition of some water and pouring medium and silicon oil, they give excellent results. In have also found that if I wait for them to dry, I can add objects and effects with an airbrush, which makes it seem a bit more like art.

Tasked with decorating the walls of an old dairy, now repurposed, I needed paint which was suitable, came in decent quantities and was not going to break the bank. This acrylic met all those criteria so I am very happy. I would recommend.

Pleased with paint and quality

Good value craft standard acrylic paint. Has a Matt finish which I really like, unlike most acrylic paint which is silky or slightly shiny. The colours are a bit dark so I had to lighten them with white (and you need a stay-wet palette or else it'll quickly dry out!) My one complaint about this is the low pigment load. Literally you have to do three or more coats to get half-decent coverage!Oh and by the way like all acrylic paint this is fully waterproof. There's a review up here by someone who says he painted his gnomes with this, that they ran in the rain! (The paint ran,v to ge gnomes didn't run away!!) No idea what he's talking about it's definitely waterproof but as with all paints it needs sealing and varnishing afterwards!!

I have bought 2 sets of Magicfly Acrylic Paint Set (280 ml/9.47 fl oz.) 14 x 280ml Large Bottles Rich Pigment Colours, Non-Fading, Non-Toxic, Acrylic Paint For Adults, Professionals artist and Beginners as I needed more of some colours for a project. I found them very easy to use and good to work with. I finished my project [completed indoors] and left it inside for a couple of months to ensure the paint was completely dry.I put my project outside a few days ago and now discover that the paint has run and the project is a mess.I am really disappointed as the finished job looked amazing [see photo] and it now needs redone!
