My Dogs Love Them
Since rice contains arsenic and it's recommended that adults only eat 1 serving a week, I don't like feeding my 12 lb and 6 lb dogs products with rice in them. They get a Greenie a day and I feel much better about them having the grain free Greenies. My vet doesn't share my concerns about rice, but considering how poorly regulated dog food companies are, I'd rather error on the side of caution. My dogs are 10 & 12 and in excellent health and I'd like to keep it that way. So, though I don't know how good Greenies are for them, I do what I can minimize any harm to them. BTW, they don't do jack for keeping their teeth clean. So, don't kid yourself about that aspect of giving your dog(s) Greenies. Only daily brushing of their teeth helps to cut down, not eliminate, dental problems. So, give Greenies as a treat instead of something that has a known potential to kill your dog. Like rawhide and fake rawhide products. Pretty much anything that says to wash your hands after handling might not be so good for your pets. BTW, even though Greenies don't help with their teeth, they have been a part of my dogs daily diet their entire lives. They really do love them.

Grain-free for my allergy prone dogs
I have been feeding my little dogs Greenies since I got them, 1-14 yo Yorkie and 2 Pugs- 1-13 yo and 1-1yo. I stand behind the Greenies name as a loyal customer because they did what they said they would-keep my dogs' teeth clean. Even at 5 and 6 yo, they had NO tartar on their teeth and that's with infrequent brushing (I hate to admit). When the Greenie "scare" came about I wasn't even concerned because I had never had any problems feeding them. I only stopped giving them when my older Pug developed hot spots and rashes. Since I didn't know the source, I researched and found that she probably had an allergy to grains. After I eliminated all grains, she was healed. Greenies weren't grain-free yet so I didn't give them for a couple years. That's when their teeth got tartar (the two older dogs). :( Imagine my happiness when Greenies became grain-free! Ever since they were launched, I've been giving them to my dogs daily. They're more expensive but so worth it. My dogs treat them like they are canine crack, that's how much they're addicted!

Doggies favorite time of day
My fur children know they get a greenie after the last time outside. Kind of a way for them to brush their teeth before bed. When we say “want a Greenie?” They perk their ears and RUN to where the treats are. We decided to try the grain free and when I opened the package it smelled a little different but not really and we’re a little darker green but other than that A+

First Time buying the Grain Free - NO STINKY BREATH!
These have always worked the best on my dogs. Previously 3 pomeranians but as of last year 2 Pomeranians and 1 Apple head long hair chihuahua. I'm counting the one that passed because she loved these! When I switched vets he thought she had dental work and I said no. He asked if I brushed her teeth and I told him about these. I don't think he believed me because that was when this brand was still a couple years old. They all love them but I do take it slow if not theyll get constipated . I'm giving this a 5 for the price, the easy way I can bend and twist to cut in half. Also, they no longer poop green! Again, I go easy. Maybe twice a week and in halves on the tiny size. I wouldn't buy any other kinds just because they're green and cheaper at times. This is the brand that I've tested for years and this is what works and what they like!

The dog likes them.
They are a bit large for my chihuahua. They look like a toothbrush. I break the brush part off and give that to her one day and the stick part the next. You have to watch a chihuahua's caloric intake so they don't get fat. You don't want these to be bulk of her daily calories. They have a strong oder, my dog loves that. It's only a problem when you first open the zip lock bag. You get a whiff of the smell then it's gone. They are "chewy" and the extra long time it takes to chew them up is what cleans her teeth. It doesn't take that long for her to down them. Therefore, I don't know if it is working or not. Only time will tell.

Great but....
I can’t speak personally as to the flavor of the greenies but my dogs seem to think they are delicious. I have a GSD who is a little picky when it comes to dental treats (she hates the Rachel ray ones) and she LOVES these. Also, her breath doesn’t stink. However, I also have two small dogs (<10 lbs) and they’re breath is less than appealing and still require cleanings every two years. If you have small dogs, you should look into adding harder chews with clorhexidine in it to help with breath or build up. Greenies are good when used with another product.

I was concerned after reading about these on google that they're not easily digestible, but I guess they've changed their formul
I purchased these for my two 13-15ish pound fur babies! I was between this size and the next size up, which is for 15-25lb dogs - same price but you get half the chewies (however you get the same overall weight in treats). My dogs are heavy chewers and finish these in about a minute or so. I was concerned after reading about these on google that they're not easily digestible, but I guess they've changed their formula to make these easy to pass. I read that you can place a greenie in some water overnight and see how it is in the morning - and it worked! It was very soft and fell apart in my fingers without having to squeeze hard. That relieved my nerves knowing these won't get stuck. Dogs love them, I love them bc they're grain free and easy to digest. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Love that they're grain free!
My 7 month old puppy loves these. They're part of his bedtime routine. First he goes out, then he comes in and waits by the closet where we keep these, he eats this treat, and then knows it's time for bed. It's worked very well for establishing when it's bedtime. I don't think they actually make his breath any fresher but I like them for the dental benefits since we only brush his teeth about once a week. Will continue to buy these. He is 11.6 pounds and the teenie is the perfect size for him. I especially love that they're grain free. It's also very nice that the bag inside the box has a nice zipper to keep them fresh.
