Not food safe as sold

As stated in the description, this is natural, untreated wood. Note that the photo is misleading as it shows treated wood. The finish of the wood is very poor, with rough patches that would certainly leave tiny splinters of wood in any food prepared on this. It definitely needs fine sanding and treating with a food grade waterproof oil, wax or varnish before use. Please be aware before buying!
