It's very much a case of YMMV. The MCU drive has no effect on the the range, but you'll get a better range if you position the aerial correctly. HAM radio clubs and similar websites are the best source of information regarding this sort of tech. 433Mhz being UHF only really travels in straight lines and it won't punch through walls, etc. **Q: Do the transmitters have unique ID's so as not to trigger multiple receivers in range?** A: Yes, I believe 65,535 (16 bit) IDs, so the chances of having two with the same ID is slim. **Q: What is the range** A: I have a receiver situated approximately 10m from the transmitter. The transmitter has the included aerial attached. The receiver has no aerial attached. There are two solid brick walls and a wooden floor between tx and rx. I have a multitude of other devices running at 2.4GHz (BT, wifi, XBee) and 864MHz (XBee) in the immediate vicinity. This setup works 100% of the time without fail. Big improvement of the previous remote receiver which used relay switches. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works absolutely perfectly. *by N***H on 20 June 2023* Havent tested range yet but very good and consistent at short range ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the transmitters faulty *by D***T on 29 April 2023* I spent several hours trying to sync each channel with my Sonoff rf bridge. Channels 1&2 seemed to be linked together, they both triggered the same message. 3&4 were fine. Upon close examination under a bright light I could see a tiny glint of copper between pins 1&2. A bit of cautious scraping to remove the tiny short and the tax now functions correctly. Additional note- the transmitter supply voltage is from 3.3V to 24V. (Apparently the higher voltage of within these levels the greater the range that can be achieved.) I have proved the transmitter workers up to 13.5V with only the above problem. BUT Beware. The receiver operates at 5V max. I have not tested the other two pairs yet, but apart from the above and some difficulty setting the correct modes for the receiver (which I will probably not use for this project) I am hopeful all will be well. I am also pleased that the transmitter does work with the Sonoff RF Bridge. The only way for me to discover this was to buy these and test it out. So to anyone else wanting to interface with the Sonoff RF bridge it can be done. It’s a bit tricky to set up though.
