I've had this garlic press for almost three months and it's fantastic. It works on the biggest cloves, it works with the skin still attached to the cloves, it works on thinly sliced ginger. It's a great garlic press. My others would snap at the hinge if I had too big of a clove of garlic in it. I had that happen twice and was beyond frustrated. My third one just broke in the dishwasher. This one I wash by hand and let it air dry. I use this press EVERYDAY and it's still in great shape. For the price it's freaking Amazing! I will purchase another if it breaks in another couple of months because I've spent well over $39 for a single garlic press, only to have it break on me in two months. Just buy it.. that's all I got to say.*** I wanted to update anyone wondering if they should still buy this garlic press. I will let you know that I've owned this for almost 3 years now and I still have the original one I bought. It's in fantastic shape, still does everything I stated above, is still shiny, still working, and still making my dishes more flavorful with the addition of minced garlic. I was getting so annoyed having to chop up my garlic for our family dinners and I like my garlic finely chopped so it took some time at times but now I have this and I’m done in less than a minute. N the best part is that I have NO MESS! Very easy to clean up! My order arrived before the date I was told. I haven’t got one negative thing to say about this product. Would definitely recommend this to everyone that prefers fresh minced garlic rather than the dried out stuff in the shaker bottles.Also to all Amazon peeps who is reading this, I review my purchases and other Amazon items as much as I can.
