Bernette B70 Deco Sewing Machine with Embroidery Kit, 5-inch LCD Display, 208 Motifs, 3 Hoops, Bobbins, Needles, Threader, Extension Table, LED Light, Professional Presser Foot, for Quilting Projects

I purchased this machine in Dec 2023. At first, it seemed really excellent. However, then it started having issues; especially with the bobbin area. When you thread the bobbin the thread does not satin the guide; it comes out, and the cutter is a piece of junk,plastic. I wish I had gone with my preferred brand but this machine had good reviews back then. It's much more trouble than it's worth.

Purchased this machine because of the embroidery area. I tried several files in various formats but the machine would misalign. As shown in the video when trying to create an appliqué design the placement step tacked the fabric one place then the actual design placement started somewhere completely different. The experience I’ve had returning it has been awful and Amazon has truly dropped the ball. I received it on the 8th returned it on the 10th and representatives advise I won’t receive my funds until December 26. Ups shows the item was delivered back to Amazon but they still won’t release my funds until after Christmas! I’m completely disappointed in this whole experience! I’ve been an Amazon customer for years and have never experienced anything like this with a return!

Bernina is an excellent company and one I normally rave about; however, I can't and won't rave about the deco. I received my deco, learned how to use it (very easy) and embroidered a built in design within a few minutes of setting the machine up. Perfect! Then the machine made a strange movement while embroidering a second design. The machine began just as the first design embroidering smoothly and efficiently when the machine made a strange movement which caused the foot to break. Can't embroider without a foot! Don't know if the problem was specific to that machine only or if the problem exists in other decos.

I havve had two previous Bernette emroidery machines. I have found this Deco 70 very difficult to learn. Also after a couple of times using it, it stopped working and could not get it to work again except if I had it repaired. Because that would cost me, I decided to return it
