Troy Barbell VTX Premium Vinyl Dumbbell Single

After much more research than one would think necessary for a product, I found this dumbbell which fit the bill for rehabbing from an extensive operation. It is easy to hold, comfortable, stands up to use. If I graduate to heavier weights, I'll return to this model/brand.

These were purchased as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. To me they are very heavy, but it's what she wanted. They are nice and smooth and she seemed very happy with them. She is a little bit of a thing, but likes to run and when she comes back lifts weights.

I have long fingernails and because of superior coating, never a concern...also soft on hands, while getting job done !

The rubbery plastic makes it comfortable to lift weights. Other than that, basically is what it is, a dumbbell. buy them, use them.

Really like these weights, especially the six sided shape so you can put them down and they won't roll away. Sturdy and well made.

They worked fine for a while. But I've had them for 5 months now and they just broke! The end broke off the handle inside the plastic so now it wobbles around. I haven't used them more than 2x per week and only in normal lifting. Very poor quality.
