Very roomy and simple to use. Love this bag......
If you would have asked me a couple of years ago to buy this, I would have laughed. Now with the pandemic, we are all much more aware about unwanted germs and bacteria lingering on our everyday items, we have to take more precautions. Do phone sterilizers work? Absolutely. You can read up all about the scientific studies showing that they reduce bacteria when inserted into UV devices. If you are concerned about germs and bacteria, you want to be sterilizing as often as possible. This bag is so simple to use, just put your mask, keys, phone, watch, or wallet, and push the "on" button to kill those germs. There is even a small clear window so you can see if the light is on when the bag is closed. There is a small metal grate that is suspended on "1" off the bottom of the bag to allow the UV light to penetrate all sides of your items instead of just beaming down on the top of your products from the lid. Bag itself is rechargeable so you don't have to plug it into an outlet everytime you use it. I am Very satisfied with this bag and will recommend it to my friends and Amazon community as well.

I LOVE this UVC box!
My husband & I are at risk so we stay in & I sanitize anything that comes into the house. Some things are sanitized by leaving in the guest room for a few days. But thinks like key fobs, phones, Kindles (I take them when going to a doctor's apt), go in here, when I get back home. I would suggest reading up on how to use UVC. It's very dangerous on your skin, so keep that in mind. And UVC needs to have direct contact to disinfect. IOW, you can't put a boatload of things in to be sanitized in a single cycle. This came with an ok trivet but I put a metal one underneath it. (The metal one was from my 3 qt Instant Pot. This holds the items up, so the UVC rays can get underneath. WRT my key fob, I usually do it once, then re-arrange & do a second time. Also great for glasses, sunglasses. Since we've been getting so many things online (due to Covid), when I open the boxes, I then put the box cutters and/or scissors I used to open the packages into the UVC box before returning them to the drawer. I ended up buying a second one (different type) b/c I like this & use it often. Between a lot of 80% alcohol/hand sanitizer, my water "ozonators" and these UVC boxes, I can pretty much sanitize anything!!!

Seems to work, but how do we know without swabbing items for bacteria and viruses?
I had been looking at these before the pandemic hit to use for cleaning my CPAP mask and water tank. At the time, they were about $80.00 and I didn't want to spend that much. Now some of them are almost twice that, but I was able to get this one for just under $100. It seems to work, I mean, you charge it (which does take a long time), put your items in, zip it closed, then press the button on top. That button changes from blinking green (when it's charging) to solid blue (while it's working). You can see from the little window that the lights are on inside the bag and after about 5 minutes, it gives a series of beeps to let you know it's done. The inside of the bag is warm and the lights are hot, so be careful not to brush your hand against them when removing your items. My big question is, how do we know it's actually sterilizing? What if it's just a metallic bag with regular lights inside that don't really do anything? It doesn't turn my transitions lenses dark, but I think maybe only UVA does that. Does anyone know how an average consumer can test this item? There is a test report included in the box, but it's VERY small type and a lot of it is in Chinese, so I can't decipher it. I guess I have to assume it's a decent product if Amazon is selling it themselves, and not a third-party seller. I'll just keep using it for my glasses, face masks, phone, keys, and CPAP mask. It's nice that it's collapsible so when we're able to travel again, I plan on taking it with me.

A travel must
Product is quick and easy to use. It takes a little while for the initial charge to the unit but it lasts a long time. I love the ability to sanitizer my CPAP mask & hose while in hotels. I just unplug the hose and place it and the mask in the bag and in 5 minutes it's done. I used to sanitize lab goggle with UV-C light so I know it works! The fold-flat bag is also a plus while traveling. Reusable masks (for covid) can also be placed in here. Wish I had had this product years ago.

Passes UVC test
Had this sanitizer for a few months now and it does what it performs adequately. This thing can fit a lot of small items. Highly recommend. This also passed a UVC test card I purchased from Hard King on Amazon. If it's UVC, it glows green. (It glowed green) If it's UV, it glows purple. (It did not glow at all) See pics for reference. Highly recommend for any house hold.

Very portable, easy to use
This bag is great, about the size of a small accessories bag or large makeup bag. I keep it in my care attached to USB port to keep it charged if needed. I put my masks and phone in there right after I get into my car after going in to a store. I feel confident that reusing my mask isn't going to infect me - it hasn't yet!

100% rip off! Do not Purchase!!!
I am a Biology teacher and purchased the product to use for a science lab where my students expose DNA of E. Coli bacteria to UV light 254 nm or less to show how skin cancer occurs from excessive sun exposure. I purchased a UV light detector to ensure the product I purchased was at least 254 nm in wavelength, which is what they advertised and the detector tested negative for UV light, but tested positive when I took the detector outside in the sunlight. The product is a blue light with a wavelength between 450-495nm which is in the visible light spectrum, but not in the ultraviolet light spectrum required to be a germicidal!!! Germs like viruses and bacteria NEED to be exposed to between 100-300nm (nanometers) in order to be destroyed! Needless to say, my class experiment was a flop! My students did not get a lesson on harmful effects of DNA damage to skin cells due to sun exposure, but got a consumer beware lesson, so not a total loss!!! I now have a fancy grey lunch box!!!

I like the unit, but the activation button is very difficult to use.
First unit: While I cannot confirm the unit actually disinfects items, assuming it does, I recommend this product. Being battery powered, it is portable. The unit is very easy to use. One press of the button turns the unit on. At the end of the disinfecting cycle, the unit beeps to alert you and turns off. UPDATE: Battery fails to hold a charge after about 2 years. Unit still works, but must be plugged into power to work. Second (most recent purchase) I purchased this unit to replace the first one above. The activation button appears to be somewhat defective. It takes repeated presses to activate the unit. The battery holds a charge. I chaged it upon receipt and after 7 uses, is still functioning.
