I had troubles mounting my screens by myself because the gas spring kept launching my monitors up, and I needed to leverage the table top to get the screws in. Everything is adjustable, however. It says 26" but is that the bottom of the monitor or the monitor center where the arm attaches?** A: I have 2 Dell 27" monitors attached to this stand and at max height, with the monitors in landscape orientation, perpendicular to the desk surface, the bottom of my monitors are about 12 inches above the desk surface and the top of the monitors are about 25 inches above the desk surface. The midpoint of the VESA mount is about 19 inches above the desk surface. If you are attaching larger monitors, or ones with a larger bezel around the display then these measurements should increase/decrease proportionately. For me the max height provides the perfect viewing angle provided the desk this stand is mounted to is the right height. I am 6'1" - but if you're shorter, you can lower the height of the monitors accordingly. If significantly taller, you can adjust the angle of the monitors as well. It’s made out of good quality metal and you can tell by the weight and feel of the stand. It’s a little tricky to get the monitors in your desired position the first time but after that it’s a breeze. Putting the stand together was easy as they include the tools you need. Easy to build by yourself.
