48-22-0325 Compact Wide Blade Magnetic Tape Measures

Solid quality. Very rugged and well built. Very large, easy to read numbers very thick material on the tape measure. It truly extends out to the length as advertised. I stood on one side of my kitchen and extended it all the way across and was able to touch the cabinets on the opposite wall without it collapsing. The magnet is also very strong if you’re able to anchor into a metallic spot. no chance of it slipping off. In fact, you have to tug quite a bit for it to let go. I also really like the reinforced laminate in the last 6 inches to help keep the tip and end from getting prematurely worn out. thoughtful design. Overall, I’m really impressed, would purchase again and would highly recommend

I like these better than my other Stanley ones I've had for years. I like the magnet part of it. It helps out a lot on jobs. Very sturdy and easy to grip.

Feels great in the hand, sturdy construction, doesn’t come flying backwards unexpectedly, magnetic end to stick to anything metal! Really cool, will be buying the rest of my hand tools from Milwaukee.

Easy stocking stuffer for dad! He loves it!

I thought this was going to be my everything go-to tape measure. I'm a contractor and an inspector. Don't get me wrong. Its a good quality item. However, I researched much before buying this one because a friend had one like it that was really great. This is not it. The problem I had with this one is two fold. First, in the slightest breeze when extending the tape out, it will twist and fall. Its not stiff enough like the wider fatter ones are. Second, and this really bothers me: The catch is too concealed; I cannot get it to just grab onto something and pull it. I have to reach up into it with my fingers (sometimes have to remove my glove) to find the catch and then pull it out a little and then hook it on. Its just not working that good for me. The good things about this tape measure are: 1. belt clip is great; holds well, 2. The thumb brake opening on the bottom is a reason alone to own this tape measure. All in all for the price, I'll not be buying a second one of these, though I will keep my eyes open for a good deal on the wider version of this.

This tape measure is solid, sturdy, and feels built to last. Best part—it’s bright red, so I never lose it in my toolbox or around the house. Smooth retract and easy-to-read numbers.

The tape as actually thick and rigid. Unlike some of the other top contenders. Worth the money.
