As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, I highly recommend this product for all Prekindergarten age students. I have been teaching for over 20 years. This is an excellent tool to teach pre writing skills for all learners. It provides feedback while write with magnet beads. Young learners will then use a pointer finger to push down the beads, therefore practicing the letter writing skills in multiple ways. I have purchase a dozen of these boards for friends and relatives children along with having several in my classroom. At parent teacher conferences, I always recommend this type of product to parents of young learners. Makes an excellent Birthday/Christmas gift. I encourage parents to take it in the car or airplane rides. Light weight. Durable. Functional. Fun. Colorful. NOT ELECTRONIC.

These are so fun for kids (of all ages)! The quality is wonderful. The magnets work properly (I’d score them a 9/10). The size is perfect for little ones — I bought for my 4 & 8 year old boys, both of whom are non-verbal, and are on the autism spectrum. So I’m praying this helps with their writing ability! So far, both kids seem to love it, and my 4 year old is already using it as we speak. It comes with two pens, which is awesome…however, if you, or your children, lose everything, don’t worry. You can buy replacements pens on here, or wherever you order things online, for a very affordable price. I’ll attach a photo of the 6 pack I purchased for around $6-$7 or so! I cannot recommend this enough!

Love this! My 2 year old knows her letters well, but we are working on slowly trying to follow the lines. The first month was just kind of scribbling with the magnetic pen, but we’re getting there!

This product it just what I expected it would be, and both my 2 and 4 year olds enjoy playing with it. The magnets are strong, which is great for the functionality of the toy, but super dangerous in the event that the toy is broken and the magnets become accessible. Learning of the damage that magnets can cause internally if swallowed by small children has made me very cautious when using magnetic toys. In this toy’s defense, it does seem sturdy and well-made. I do believe it would take some serious effort to break and it is unlikely that the metal balls could be released, but it is still a possibility. Kids can be destructive. Accidents can happen. And an accident of a little one ingesting multiple strong magnets is not one I’m willing to risk. This toy is used with supervision in our household and is not kept in a place where it would be accessible independently. With that said, it is something that my kids have fun playing with and a novel way to practice forming letters! Just thought it was worth mentioning that caution should be used when providing small kids with magnets.

I gifted it to my 3 yo niece and she really loved it!

Found this 2-sided version with colorful letters and my daughter LOVES it. Such a better value than the single sided versions I'd seen other places. It even comes with two 'pens' with the magnet tip, one of them with a little cable to attach to the board. The magnets are a LITTLE bit too strong,..which makes it a bit harder to smoothly write the letters, but its still very fun.

I like that this motivates my son to practice his letters and the magnetic pull forces him to have good control for formation of the letters. I do have to limit his time on it because if I'm not watching he can have a poor grip and doesn't form his letters correctly. I can imagine that changing when he gets older though. It's very durable and colorful. The numbered instructions on sequence of forming the letters don't help those who can't read. Again more helpful for older kids.

My 2 and 3 year old both love this thing! Durable as it has been slammed quite a few times in excitement and educational.
