Lb - Kill The Lights

This is a MUST HAVE for Luke Bryan fans. There's nothing better than listening to a vinyl album of your favorite atrist's music. It's also wonderful for framing and hanging in a bonus room or music room. I like every sing on the album, and Kick The Dust Up, Strip It Down, Home Alone Tonight, featuring Karen Fairchild of the band Little Big Town have have all been #1 hits on the Country Music Billboard. I can almost guarantee that at least three or four others wil also hit #1. This album by Country Music's Entertainer of the Year is awesome. True super fans like me should absolutely buy this vinyl album. With so many artists choosing to only release digital copies and CDs of their music these days, it was a wonderful surprise for me to learn that Kill The Lights was released on vinyl. It's a wonderful addition to my collection of other vinyl albums, and to my collection of Luke Bryan memorabilia.

Kill The Lights Luke Bryan So, as a guy I am not ashamed to say that I like Luke Bryan and his music! Lol but this is one of his best albums so far! (at least in my opinion). His music in this album comes from a nice place deep down inside. It’s not your typical modern country music that talks about partying and a fun time, but rather is more romantic and loving! I don’t see why people have a lot of hate for him. His music is in this was more in a scene of traditional country and less pop style. This is a great album to add to your country repertoire! Go buy it right now!! : )

I adore Luke Bryan so its not the music content Im rating here because that is more than fine. Its the quality of the recording. Who thought it would be a great idea to only put two or three songs on each side of the record so now you are constantly having to flip records? Then I thought maybe that's so the quality is even better. Well it wasnt. This record doesnt have the richness vinyl music usually does. There's that flatness that makes me think it was recorded straight from the cd instead of being remastered for vinyl. And the fact I had to put the volume way up on the stereo. I played other records to make sure it wasnt the turntable. Even bought a new needle to be certain. Nope. Still sounds flat as a pancake with no depth or richness to the tone. Like I said, I love the music itself and there's no skips or static. Record plays perfect. Just expected a bit more quality-wise with the vinyl. You can usually tell the difference between hearing a song from a cd and a song played from a record. This one you cant.

Luke Bryan is so talented!! I recommend you buy this CD. I own other CD's. This one is very good!!

This is my first Luke Bryan CD - up until now, the only country artists I listened to, were Johnny Cash and Blake Shelton. After listening to this album, I have to say it probably won't be the last one - I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for "What makes you country" to come out. My favorite songs on "Kill The Lights" are Move, Way Way Back, To The Moon And Back and Scarecrows.
