Works perfectly as an external keyboard for my Chromebook. It fits just right over the Chromebook's keyboard and this has a number pad (a must have for my needs). And there is just a slight bit of color difference between the two items, just a plus to me. The keyboard and mouse are a bit lighter of a grey. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my laptop that recently got its keyboard shorted out. Bought the black color to match the laptop and so I could tell which one goes with with device.

First of all, everybody who left a comment saying the usb receiver didnt come with it need to know that the receiver is inside the mouse, open the place where you put the batteries and you will see it in there for you to pull out. Now, the first day of using the keyboard the left side had no functionality. I saw that the keys only worked on that side if lifted it up in and held it in an angle while typing with my other hand. This is particularly annoying because the only reason I bought it was to replace my old wireless keyboard which started having a similar issue (ironically I am typing this review now with my old keyboard). Then after a few days I noticed the mouse looked like it was lagging and lacking proper response time. Thought maybe it was my computer and maybe it had a virus, BUT NOPE! I switched back to my old wireless mouse and everything was smooth and even in motion. Overall, if your like me who wanted to just get a cheap $20 wireless mouse and keyboard, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Cough up another $10-$15 dollars and get yourself something that will at least last longer than a few days lol.

First, this is NOT a full sized keyboard, unless of course you're a hobbit. Holding it up to a real full size keyboard, the Z to ? on the bottom row, this keyboard's ? mark ends where the comma is on a full size keyboard. It may seem like 'well, it's only the width of one key', but that is a significant size difference. As others have mentioned, as I type this review, the key inputs are lagging and sometimes keystrokes are not entered and I get a typo. After two months, one of the key caps fell off, and within a few days another. I'm fairly technical, putting these keycaps back on is a new venture in frustration, it must have been done with an AI robot with much more steady hands and patience... I didn't really purchase this for the keyboard anyway, how much typing do we really do anyway, if you're work from home and need to type, look at a more professional unit, wireless or not. I mainly got this as most of my usage is mouse driven, and the wireless mouse has a nice range and is reliable, a bit on the small size, but so far the single AA battery (not included) lasted about 2 months, which is 4 times what my old one did, has a nice range, and turns off when not being used for a while, (just click any of the mouse buttons to turn back on), ````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Writing this review after 3 years of Use. I live the keyboard. I prefer it over logitech and dell. The click sound is not too loud and feels good. Keys are spaced out well so it doesn't hurt my nails and its very compact for a full keyboard size
