I was amazed at just how long I could spend searching through Amazon to try and find a decent can opener. In the end, after several hours of my life I’ll never get back - I went for the expensive KitchenAid option, and I’m very glad I did. When I ordered, I was worried they would be a standard, cheap opener the same as the £5 ones but with the KitchenAid brand smacked onto it, inflating the price. But, I can honestly say that this can opener feels really good quality, sturdy and nice to use with minimal effort needed. Definitely the nicest can opener I’ve ever used, with a feel of real luxury…So, if you’re sad like me and you’re looking for a luxurious can opener, I would recommend this one.

Didn't realise just how difficult the old opener had become until we started using this one - absolutely fantastic, smooth, quick and easy to use.

This can opener does not open British standard size tins. The grip of the cutting edge is different. Presumably it is for American cans. I only just found this out as I don't use tins much. This was misleading advertising and I would like a refund. British people don't waste your money!

At £43.96 it is too expensive!

Well made and sturdy KitchenAid can opener. Already had one and purchase this as part of a Christmas gift for someone who loved mine! Never thought I'd spend this kind of money on a can opener, but now realize the value and the investment...not that the price is outrageous but would never have spent more than $5 on one before! LOL
