Well Worth It!
This thumb rest is built well and appears it will last years. It is high quality aluminum with a hinge and rubber padding where it touches the camera. Sure there are other cheaper versions, but you get what you pay for. The hinge makes it worthwhile in order to have easy access to your back buttons. Is it worth $60? I think it's worth it, but I guess that depends on what you value. I value top materials and functionality, as well as eliminating thumb cramping. It also fits and matches perfectly.

Great Fit for Camera Grip
Given that my hands are larger than average, this thumb grip really assists and gives me peace of mind when I'm holding my Fuji X100V. The fit in the shoe was excellent, and I like having the rubber padding on the back of the lever to protect the finish of my camera. I also appreciate the ability to move the right half of the lever out of the way to access buttons and dials, if needed. The joint feels tight and "locks" enough when moved away from or next to the camera body. From a style perspective, the grip reminds me of a film winding lever on older film cameras. Solid material that appears to be built to last. It completed the retro look of my camera, while being functional, and I love it.

Nice upgrade for leverage
This piece makes it much easier to hold the camera one-handed. It also folds back to allow access to control. Simply a well-made and well-designed accessory.

A must have for any Fuji X100 series camera!
This takes comfort and grip to a whole new level. I like that it can be swung out of the way for better access to the dial. This gives you a better purchase on the camera; giving you the assurance that the camera won't slip out of your hand. It is made of high quality materials. I highly recommend this product!

Can’t Live Without It...
So I’m old enough to remember film cameras and live through the autofocus revolution. Back then, my Canon cameras (and others) with a manual film advance lever were so much easier to hold. Why? Because the film advance lever by your right thumb Could pull out a bit, acting as a cradle or rest for the thumb. This was a feature so the user could advance the film faster after each shot, but was also an ergonomic joy as it turned your thumb into part of a camera support. It was great. You could hold the camera steady and be ready for the next shot. Fast forward to today and digital has replaced film. Film advance levers don’t exist and camera manufacturers keep trying to shrink their products. For me the modern cameras are more difficult to grasp and carry despite bulky grips and other design features. What they all are missing is a solid place for my thumb! I love my Fuji X100-V. With the conversion lenses it is capable of covering most of my photographic needs: Takes detailed pictures, fun to use , lovely to hold. Well, thanks to Lensmate it’s lovely to hold because I’ve got my thumb rest back. Yes, it takes up the hot shoe, but I don’t use flash with this camera. (Although some type of flash signal pass through system + thumb rest creation would be neat). Yes, it’s not cheap to purchase for such a small thing. Problem is I can’t imagine the camera without this support...it’s just feels right, and the camera is easier and steadier while handholding. The thumb rest looks and feels high quality. The folding lever swings out of the way with a satisfying click when you need to access the shutter speed/iso dial. There’s a protective rubber piece to prevent scratching the camera. Overall, a well thought out piece of kit. Expensive? Yep. But despite the cost, it is satisfying to own and therefore melds with the X100’s ethos. Is it perfect? Well, yes and no. The Fujifilm leather case will not close with this device attached. That’s no big deal for me since I only use the bottom case part and not the entire cover. You could remove the thumb rest, but I don’t like the idea of taking it on and off the camera so much out of wear concerns to both rest and camera. I just leave it on all of the time and am happy. For anyone wanting a better grip to their Fuji X100 series cameras, I highly recommend trying the Lensmate grip out. Your thumb will thank you.

Needed for a low-profile camera
I like this thumbgrip because I don’t have small hands and I need something additional to hold onto. With my other cameras, they have pronounced grips, but with the x100v being designed to be more of a portable, low-profile camera you can use on walks and for street photography, this just is smaller. It’s solidly built and my favorite feature of it is that it can fold out of the way of the buttons on the top panel in case you need to change something that is programmed for them. To my knowledge, the other thumbgrips designed for this camera do not fold out of the way.

Best thumb grip for FUJIFILM X100 cameras
I use this excellent, very comfortable and really well thought out thumb grip on my most favorite digital camera ever, my FUJIFILM X100F. I like it so much I bought another because I'm getting a second X100F, in silver this time. Too good of a deal to pass up ! The grip hinges to get to buttons and has rubber pads on both sides to protect camera. Very, very well thought out and though expensive, it's the best one out there for my X100F's. Great looking too, for a great looking camera !!! LarryMac

Perfect fit for your thumb
Fits great in the hand. Your thumb falls right into place when taking vertical shots. It looks perfect especially the x100v logo on top. Definitely worth the money. Feels high quality in the hand and works great!
