I've just gone over from acrylics to oil paints and so buying oils is new to me. I've bought about half a dozen of this brand and they've all been great. Very good price too. I particularly love their shade of Sap Green which is a lovely deep emerald green, just as in acrylic paints. Other oil brands of sap green have been very dark indeed, almost black. It appears that oil paints don't have the same amount of different colours that acrylics have and I'm getting used to that. But I recommend this brand and I'll be buying more.

Gute gleichmäßige Konsistenz? Das ich nicht lache... Ich habe mir vor einigen Wochen bestimmt 20 Tuben davon geholt, alle möglichen Farben. Fazit: Praktisch die Hälfte aller Tuben konnte ich wegschmeißen, weil die Farben in sehr mieser viel zu dünnflüssiger Konsistenz aus der Tube flossen. Auch ein vernünftiges Anmischen mit anderen Farben des gleichen Herstellers war nicht möglich. Es gab einige Tuben die mit guter fester Konsistenz ausgestattet war. Mit diesen Tuben kann man dann auch ganz gut arbeiten, die Farbbrillianz ist in Ordnung. Aber wenn ich von 20 Tuben 10 wegschmeißen muss ist die Ausschussquote ja wohl eindeutig zu hoch. Da brauch mir auch keiner etwas von Einzelfällen oder unglücklichen Zufällen zu erzählen. Fazit: Es gibt genügend andere Hersteller die auch zu annehmbaren Preisen Ölfarben herstellen, um Mont Marte kann man getrost einen Bogen machen.
