Sho's B-6 Kun, Compact Hibachi Grill, 3 Piece Set

Fans of a certain manga/anime will immediately recognize this thing. It's a mini metal offering box. NO! It's a combination grill and campfire rocket stove that can fold down to the size of a small, very heavy, book. It's made from stainless steel, so this weighs just over a pound (500 grams). It's definitely heavier than the titanium backpacking stoves on the market, so that's something to keep in mind if you are a backpacker when every gram counts. If you have a vehicle, this can come along, no problem at all. The package came from Osaka, which is both cool and a little bit of a welcome surprise because of the flood of Chinese sellers on Amazon that made buying quality products a real challenge lately. The text on the package seal read, "開封厳禁" which translated means, "Do not break the seal", which I just found hilarious. It probably says that to keep retail clerks and warehouse workers from accidentally opening the package. You'd think a collapsible piece of camp gear would feel flimsy, but in this case you'd be wrong, this thing feels like a tank for its size. Assembly took a couple of minutes, you unfold the legs and short sides, slide in the long slides, insert the fuel grate pieces, and top it off with the grill grate if you're grilling, or the stabilizer pieces if you're using it as a rocket stove. I haven't used it yet, but from what I've learned from experience, it looks like the grate can take wood pellets if you have a bunch lying around. It recommends against liquid burners, but since it can take a full load of hardwood charcoal, I would imagine it could take an alcohol stove as long as you make sure it doesn't tip over or slide around. I wouldn't grill over an alcohol flame, though. If you burn wood, it will become sooty, so you'll need to find a way to prevent that (a thin coat of vegetable oil, perhaps) or clean it with oven cleaner. At just over a hundred bucks, this thing is a bit pricey, but if you do a lot of camping, this definitely beats lugging a full size grill to the campground. Plus, it should do a fine job as a rocket stove.

First off the grill is cute as all hell, and you know i and nearly everyone here bought if because of Yuru Camp. But besides that, it’s genuinely a good grill. Lets start off on why it’s worth getting. First the construction is really good, it assembles well and doesn’t wobble. Also you might worry about the aluminum rivets like i did, don’t worry the thing has great air flow and so much so that i could touch the rivets and not get burned right away. Second the size is perfect, packs super compact and flat. Which also makes it easy to clean. Just toss in soupy water and soak and scrub, cleans up really easily. Weight is also good, weighs just 2 pounds with the grill grate and with then heavy duty charcoal grates. Also for lighting up charcoal in it, it’s really easy as well so long as you use the right starting method. But i can report thaan charcoal works well in this. Honestly if you want a grill or fire pit for camping this is an exceptionally good choice

Of course I bought this because of Yuru camp; However it turns out this figurine is GREAT for solo asian-style grilling. Perforated charcoal plate provides sufficient air intake and thus really high firepower even with regular briquettes. Ash can also fall through the holes to the actual ash tray so they don't cover up the coal. Side doors makes it easy to add more charcoal or further increase air intake. Folds down and sets up really easily, and folds really small. Good for bike camping. Only downside is the mirror-finished stainless steel - gets dirty really quickly if oil drip happens... The top grill also catches rust in dishwasher. I guess I will get a second one and never use it. Over the best "Anime goods" ever bought. Happy to bring this to every bike/solo camping

Bought this offering box for my husbands Christmas present he can cook about 4 hotdogs at a time and it’s super tiny perfect for solo camping and very compact!!

So I bought this because of Yuru Camp. Is quite a bit sturdier than other compact grills I've tried and doesn't feel like it might tip-over or collapse when jostled. That does also imply it's on the heavy side for it's size but there is also a titanium model if you want to save some ounces.

I got this after watching laid back camp! I love it! I can use it on my patio and it packs away small enough to use while backpacking ; I would say, the cast iron grate is heavier than I expected but if you are going to use it as a portable fire pit that does not matter much. I got the Thaan binchotan charcoal and captain stag table to accompany it; binchotan is hard to light, and gets VERY hot; I recommend starting with a couple of easy light charcoal, then putting the binchotan on top. 10/10

今更ながら素晴らしい焚き火台。

タイトルの様にアニメを見て購入 確かにコンパクトで持ち運びは便利ですが、正面の扉は少し小さめなので 炭の追加とか大きいのは入れづらいです。 あとグリルの部分は２ｃｍほど高くなり炭からの距離を取れますが、滑り止めや落ち防止の縁がないので 焼き鳥でも焼肉でも気を付けないと横や奥から落ちますね
