RSVP International Endurance Kitchen Utensil Collection Stainless Steel Locking Tongs for Cooking, Small, 6-1/2-Inch

Our 2nd of two of these mini tongs. RSVP Endurance typically makes solid kitchen accessories (for instance, their mixing bowls), but the arms of the one I received rub so tightly that once the tongs are clamped together, they don’t open back up on their own. The edges press so tightly against each other on one side that they could almost cut paper like a pair of scissors.Not operator error- this is in reference to when the tongs are upright and the release latch is in the unlocked position.Because this wasn’t purchased via Amazon Prime, rather than a quick and easy resolution, I’ll need to try to fix them myself by perhaps bending the inner metal edges away from each other, though disappointed that I even have to.Don’t like to give one star reviews, and sure- first world problem, but the tongs have one job- not a one-time job.

I have to admit I love kitchen tongs, they are my favorite kitchen tool! I use these all the time to serve appetizers, they're the perfect size and very well-made.
