Pulp Riot Semi-Permanent Hair Color 4oz - NeoPop Tragic

Amazing pigment very saturated color. Doesn’t fade quick. Made my hair soft. Good quality vivid and the colors are true to what the chart shows you.

Works as intended. Only semi-permanent I use.

I mixed this color with Nightfall and applied it over an existing fading blue after a recent root bleaching. The smell was fine, and it didn't stain my skin or tub too much (especially when compared to Pravana blue). First picture is immediately after the dye. Second picture is after 3 months of fading with no touchup and only a few uses of blue shampoo. I usually wash my hair 1-2 times a week. It color stacks well, fades pretty, and it's affordable. I've repurchased this brand.

This dye is expired or in some way defective. My stylist was out of town and I was impatient so i pulled the trigger on some fun blues. This dye turned my hair green and it was oxidized out of the tube. How do I know? I had left over dye from my stylist and looked at the difference. It was pale and turned white on my hair(oxidation). Don’t waste your time and money. There’s a reason you need a license to buy this stuff must be expired or defective especially when it’s $20 at retail and on amazon it’s cheap af. Don’t buy. From one girl to another.

Omg when I say this is the best hair dye I’ve ever used! Doesn’t stain, Very little washes out when u rinse and it doesn’t get bleed off on clothes or pillowcases etc! This is amazing!!! The 2nd pic shows how blue it is 2.5 months after compared to the lighter spots where I used a dark grey from another brand! The blue is vibrant and stayed longer then the other color in my hair!!

My hair is chemically processed so the color grabbed nicely and I have no issues with it ruining my tub because I use my stainless steel kitchen sink to rinse it and for most hair washes. I only wash my hair 3 times a week or so and this color is the longest lasting in my hair- brightens up with a little purple shampoo even tho this is the blue . I feel it dried my hair some and it doesn't cover my virgin white/ grey roots, but for streaks in my lavender hair it's really holding up.

My go to hair dye ! Lasts so long and smells really nice too

I hate to leave this review bc I'm in LOVE with pulp riot products, been using for 3+ years and ALL have been great until this one. It hasn't lasted at all. I put this on roughly July 8th and without using any harsh products or chemicals, did not use bleach before hand, no blow drying, no straightener, nothing at all. But it's now faded to a pale blue/green. Normally I use nightfall, also by pulp riot and lasts for a month minimum, but I wanted a lighter shade. It was GORGEOUS when I first applied it. But it started fading within days and now it's very ugly. I'm going to have to buy a new different dye and do it again. I'll probably just go back to the nightfall. I'd suggest finding another pulp riot product to use. Their other colors are excellent.

I'm on a transitioning journey from henna to grey. After a first peroxyde bath I used Tragic to 'tone' the orange out. It worked, see before/after pic (purple phone case). Although my roots are now blueish on white hair and greenish on my natural color 😅. I tried to avoid the roots but obviously didn't.

Beautiful blue, you need to bleach your hair to a level 10 to get a true blue, however. Any shade darker or with a yellow undertone will give you a more blue/green.

Surprisingly didn't work. My favourite blue hair dye was sold out and I already bleached my roots, so I figured I'd give this one a try because a lot of people talk about it on tiktok and Instagram. I bleached my hair two days before, didn't condition it so it would absorb the dye better, and I left this in my hair for almost 8 hours. It barely did anything /: If you bleach your hair beforehand, or have damaged hair, I would not recommend this dye. Not sure how it is on healthy hair but I'm very surprised it didn't work on pre bleached hair. This stuff is worse than manic panic

If your hair is bleached this is bright and lasts a long time, if you are trying to colour natural grey hair this product washes straight out.

Not near as vibrant as I was expecting, unfortunately I wont be rebuying.
