Buy these if you’re looking for good speakers without breaking the bank!
I installed these speakers into the rear doors of a 2016 Subaru Impreza Limited using a mount/ wire adapter set I also found on Amazon. I bought the car three months ago and always thought the rear speakers did not sound that powerful. Lo and behold, I found that one of the factory speakers had a blown voice coil .Lo and behold, I found that one of the factory speakers had a blown voice coil and had no sound. These JVC speakers have a good mid range base along with really good highs. The factory amplifier powers these speakers very well and the sound is quite good with very little distortion at high volume. For 30 bucks, you cannot beat these speakers. I highly recommend them as a low budget, good quality replacement for the factory speakers in your car.

Good speakers
Let's be honest, you and I did not come here for a set of high-end speakers. These speakers are budget friendly and get the job done. $22 for a pair of 6.5" speakers is a steal in today's audio marketplace. Replacing blown or buzzing OEM speakers with an economical set makes perfect sense. The speakers are clear and crisp, but not much bass. In my opinion, they play plenty loud enough without distortion. Have realistic expectations on your factory sound system, and you won't be disappointed. Replacing the front door speakers on my 2005 Silverado with the 6.5" units was a snap. I drilled 7/64" pilot holes and used the supplied screws to install the new speakers. Works perfectly. It's nice to listen to the radio again.

Good speakers, mouting and wiring included but may need to get after market for easy of install.
Good replacement speakers, clear and loud, easy to install. Would recommend good value. Fit and quality is good, Nice looking covers, but wasn't able to use due to door factory limits. Not an issue with speaker or fit.

Good
For $25, it's hard to go wrong if you have absolutely horrific speakers in your vehicle. I put these in the rear doors of a 2007 Honda Fit because the stock speakers sound like they are laying in mud. However, in this particular car I also have a nice set of components in the front doors which means the rear doors are almost pointless. I do notice the difference from the stock speakers I had in the back though. These are clearer and dont sound muffled. The highs are more noticeable. Mids sound better, lows are basically non-existent. The sound out of these is pretty good for a speaker of this spec and price. I dont think I would run these as the main speakers in my car but if you've got an older car that just needs a small upgrade or your old factory speakers are blown, these are solid for the money. Don't forget to check if you need any sort of adapter or wire harness. I did for my car.

Decent sound, but not 3 way
Good budget 6x9, but is only a 2 way. Has a central tweeter with a small circle of plastic to the side that I originally thought was a smaller tweeter, but is only made to look like it. Don't get me wrong, they sound great for the price, but lose a star for misleading/false advertising. Perfect for stock head unit, but anything but a small amplifier is going to be too much power. Build quality is also pretty poor, these are definitely the lightest, most unsubstantial 6x9's that I have seen, but that does make them easier to fit and install.

Sounds great, for a $20 pair of speakers
If you are installing these JVC CS-J620 speakers expecting phenomenal results, you'll be a bit disappointed. Save up and look elsewhere. This review is intended for those looking to buy an inexpensive pair of speakers to handle audio in a vehicle with old, worn out paper speakers from the factory. Pros: Great value, Very good sounding when set up properly Can handle 30 watts input as advertised Nice tweeter that has no problems handling highs. Slim Profile for shallow installations. Cons: Poor Bass capability Distorts heavily when volume is low-mid level and frequency driven is below 700Hz A bit about my setup. I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline RTL with Audio/Nav system that was removed in favor of an Atoto A6 Pro receiver, running no amplifier and relying solely on the Atoto's 4x29w RMS output to push the speakers. I used a Metro connector pack and Scoche speaker adapters to fit these into the stock speaker location that housed a very old and cracked set of china made Pioneer OEM speakers. The subwoofer box built into the truck was removed and updated using an MB Quart RLP254 but remained unhooked for this test and review. The JVC speakers sound fine with the equalizer adjustments concentrating on mid and high range, but anything dipping below 700Hz will cause problems unless you are listening at 85 decibels or less. It's suggested to limit this range, or at the very least set up the equalizer settings to not overdrive the speaker at the low frequency ranges. I would NOT suggest using an amplifier with these speakers. I attempted to run a Dual XPR82D and while it drove the speakers fine, more distortion could be heard, even with tweaking for high pass filtering and using an SMD distortion meter for assisting with gain and the inexpensive amp could easily overdrive the speakers.

I bought these to replace my factory fitted speakers in my Fiat Ducato camper van which is 19 years old so obviously these sound pretty good compared to the old ones, I’m still tweaking the settings like the bass and all the other stuff which I’m clueless to but I’m getting there, the acoustic in the van isn’t brilliant but these speakers do the job and for £30 I’m very pleased with them.
