The size of the cage is a good quality for one guinea pig. I like the color of the cage and the easy access open front door to the cage to clean it. The food dish is nice and stay secured on top of the cage in the water bottle works well. I feel there are two things that are in need of room of improvement for a more user-friendly experience. The Haybarn does not sit low enough to touch the bottom of the plastic part of the cage when it hangs on the side with her in it. There is a gap due to where the clip is so they constantly Falls on the floor. I may have to look into getting a different holder for her that is not so wide and could fit between the corner of the cage and the clip. Also the guinea pig runs and hides in its cave so that when my daughter wants to get him out she has to unclip the side of the cage and take the tab off of the cage and lift the cave completely out to get the guinea pig out to hold him. It would be better if they would make it so the cave was on hinges so that it would lift up every time you wanted to get the guinea pig out of the cave. That part is a pain. Hamilton the guinea pigs seems pretty satisfied with the cage, so that is one good thing! A cute and happy little guy!

This cage is great! My son got a guinea pig unexpectedly 😆, and we had to find something quickly. We got the larger one because my friend said the piggy was on the larger side, and we wanted to have room for a friend should we need it. The cage is large, so make sure you look at dimensions. It will fit on top of his dresser, but like I said pay attention to dimensions the water bottle is pretty flimsy, but we have other options because we have rabbits. I'd make other arrangements and not trust the water bottle honestly. Other than that it's perfect. The directions are not straightforward make sure to look at this listing and the pics for help.

Assembly was so easy and no fuss. The instructions are pretty detailed. It is larger than my guinnea pig’s previos cage so she loves it. The hide-a-way is an absolute gem of an idea and gives plenty of room for her to play in the rest of the cage while her food and water are all in one area. The cage is super sturdy and can be relocated easily. The bottom is a bit deeper than her old cage which provides her more of an enclosure. The side lifting instead of a small door makes caring for her and cleaning so much easier. I LOVE this habitat for her.

Roomy cage for my guinea pig. She has room to run circles in it with or without the platform installed. I’m waiting for the day she decides to stand up on the platform and pee through the bars out of the cage. I know it’s only a matter of time, so I only keep that in there in the winter so she has a warm place to go. Great cage! Easy to put together and I recommend attaching the bottom of the hay tray to the cage with a wire so it doesn’t pop open and drop hay out. My reasons for taking away one star in the rating are: 1) you can’t open the cage from the top, which would be a convenience but obviously it doesn’t say you can in the product description, it would just be a nice feature to have. 2) the bottom is angled in slightly which is only an issue because I like to hook the playpen directly to the cage so my guinea pig can hop in and out, but the angle of the cage leaves an opening she can squeeze through so I have to keep rigging things up to block it at the bottom. 3) every week when I change out the bedding and wash the bottom, it’s slightly more and more stained dark brown. The plastic is fairly easy to wipe clean but there’s always an area that you can’t scrub enough and every week it gets bigger. I’ve had the same issue with other cages as well.

My guinea pig had this really super large pen. That was just so flimsy. These plastic things connected with these other black things at the bottom. I can't even describe it. We really liked it. He didn't care for the Hut and didn't want to climb up the part that elevates so basically I kept that out of the cage. It's also great to travel.

We have two bunnies - I’ve purchased 3 cages, because we did a good bit of moving as one bunny was my class pet. They aren’t built for moving, and the instructions say so - so be careful when lifting and transporting. It has worked great for my babies when they have to be in an enclosure, though. They love sitting on the shelf and having a quick place to go hide. We don’t use a water bottle, so the bowl insert is handy.

Love this cage I bought mines months ago but I like to wait to I use it for a while to give a real review and I love it it’s the perfect size and easy to clean for me so if you look for the perfect cage this is it and it’s definitely enough room for 2 Guinea pigs

We have brought a number of cages to transport our guinea pigs. This is perfect, and the piggies love that they can hide in the cubby house section.

This is a great style cage for my Netherland Dwarf bunny - which is a small type of rabbit, fully grown. He jumps in and out throughout the day and it’s his safe place to sleep at night. It’s also his litter box (picks a corner and commits to that spot). Has everything you’d need for first time small-pet people. The big magic with this cage is that the entire front side opens for bunny to enter/ exit. Other cages just have a smaller square door - not optimal in my opinion. Remember: feed bunny lots of hay to keep teeth trim and prevent over-growing! Also, if using wood chips for bedding, stay away from cedar/ cedar mixes because it’s toxic to rabbits and could cause “head-tilt” problems which can be scary if not attended to as soon as possible. Use Aspen, instead. ; )
